Celebs Out & About: Rihanna & Matt
I get the feeling that Rihanna is not exactly comfortable with Matt as a love object. It seems she can’t go anywhere without a crowd of her friends tagging along. Either that or Matt Kemp is a very confident man. Most men don’t go for that 3 is a crowd thing.
It’s common knowledge that when a female isn’t comfortable with a man (at least initially) she asks her friends to tag along just in case. Yesterday, Rihanna (who is still vacationing in Mexico with baseball player Matt Kemp) was spotted leaving a shop with Matt, BFF Melissa (with her back to the camera) and another friend wearing a horrid wig.
I don’t see this relationship lasting. Especially since it’s obvious that Matt Kemp is an industry whore who runs through females like he’s changing underwear.

Normally I ignore all communications from readers regarding that other lesbun blogger who has been so disrespectful to me in the past. But in the new year I have decided to forgive my enemies and instead I will show them love and understanding.
Yesterday, a loyal reader sent this photo of Necole that was sufficiently alarming enough to rate a response from me. She does look sick — and not in a good way. Like she might be anorexic — or lonely and depressed.

The NY Post Slams Beyonce for Performing For Terrorists
The NY Post wrote a scathing piece today slamming burlesque singer Beyonce for performing a private 1-hour concert for the son of Muslim Libyan terrorist, Moammar Khadafy.
This is more evidence that celebrities will do anything for money and fame.
Beyonce performed for an hour on New Year’s Eve at a party thrown by terror-backing Libyan dictator Moammar Khadafy’s son, Hannibal, who has a long record of violence against women.
Some vacationers on the island were aghast. DJ Sam Young tweeted: “Jigga [Jay-Z], Beyonce & Usher were @ Nikki Beach performing for Khadafy family, WTF?” Read More…
Apparently, Khadafy’s son Hannibal beat his wife to a pulp inside their hotel room over the Christmas holidays. The wife suffered a broken nose, among other injuries, and had to be hospitalized.
The criticism is so damaging that Beyonce’s camp at first denied that Beyonce received a $2 million fee to perform. Then they denied that Beyonce even performed. But music magnate Russell Simmons already tweeted the pics from the concert and confirmed that she was there performing. It remains to be seen how this one will play out.

We know that R&B singer Usher was in St. Barths with his lady love Grace Miguel (who moved into his Atlanta mansion last year). So why is he holding hands with a man? We’re going to give Ush the benefit of the doubt and say that’s his bodyguard.
Rapper Drake was spotted out & about in Miami over the holiday weekend. We see at least one thing he got for Christmas. That Hermes belt retails for about $350. By the way, did you know that Drake got a jump down pregnant and she either aborted the baby or lost it? Notice I wrote “jump down” and not jump off. Anyway, that’s the rumor that’s going around the industry. I’ll post her pic as soon as I gather a little more intel.

Medical Minute: Death By Natural Causes
A couple of loyal readers emailed me to ask what death by “natural causes” means. In the last three weeks we’ve read about two high profile deaths attributed to natural causes: actress Brittany Murphy and heiress Casey Johnson, who was found dead in LA yesterday morning.
Death by natural causes simply means the deceased had a preexisting condition (disease, long term illness, etc.) that caused the death. Natural causes also applies if the coroner can’t find a cause of death and there is no evidence of foul play or homicide.
Hospitals are known to cover up medical negligence cases by attributing a patient’s death to natural causes. The patient’s death is by natural causes, therefore, there is usually no autopsy performed. It’s left up to the patient’s family to demand an autopsy if there is any hint that negligence was involved.
In Brittany Murphy’s case, she was diagnosed with type 2 (non-insulin dependent) diabetes and was reportedly very sick (nausea and vomiting) for days before she collapsed and died of cardiac arrest. It’s very likely that her cardiac arrest was brought on by severe dehydration from vomiting.

I keep forgetting that sistas are into down low men now as long as they don’t drag their trades home with them or embarrass her in front by eyeballing her male friends in her presence. These are desperate times we’re living in, what with so many successful single black women and so few available straight black men.
Model Keston Carter is ESSENCE magazine’s “Eye candy of the week.” I’m sure ESSENCE mag is well aware of the rumors and the fact that KK is, or was, Terrell Carter’s eye candy. But they are trying to sell magazines. And since he plays his role very well…
