Celeb Style: Kanye West
Troubled rapper/producer Kanye West was spotted entering a studio in Hollywood yesterday where other celebs are gathered to record a “We Are the World” type track for Haiti. Kanye is wearing a one of a kind Goyard “Robot Face” backpack that he picked up while in Paris last week.
Kanye designed the thing himself as you can tell. I’m a backpack fiend, but that is one ugly backpack. It probably cost a grip. I guess the bigger story here is that Kanye was invited to something in Hollywood. As you know, Kanye was blacklisted by Hollywood A-listers such as George Clooney. And even the GRAMMY people asked him not to bother stopping by.

Everybody and their grandmama had a youtube video imitating that dance, While Taylor’s was filmed in a high school gym. The music industry is too political.

I read that when the 1st We Are The World was recorded, Mr. Jone posted a note that said, “Check your egos at the door”…..he’s going to be posting that note again….

I have only heard about Kanye being blacklisted on Sandra Rose. I think the industry is so money-drive that as soon as Kanye makes another hot-super selling CD, he will be back in their good graces again.

@Anna, I haven’t carried one since college but I doubt I would’ve thrown my heavy books in a bag like Kanye’s bag. We were paying $65 for Jansport bags at my school just to have the bag fall apart from the weight of our books.

Now that’s what I’m talking ’bout. Post a story on that. I can’t wait to see it. I’m rooting for Mike. Also, my girl won Ray J’s heart!. Ok, not really, but she was the last girl standing. Mz. Berry Miz Berry!
Oh and Tasia let that dang boy that done took over her show back in the house. Rest assured his show will be out next which I ain’t mad about. At least then he will have a job unlike everyone else in her family and I’ll be right there watching his triflin behind.
Oh and as for my brother being on Salt’s whack azz show, I believe he will be on the last two Monday’s of this month. I know his last show airs on the 21st or 22nd. Whichever is Monday. I told him that show is whack and I can’t even watch it, but of course I’ll watch it those weeks. He’ll also be the Essence dot com eye candy of the week sometime this month. I’m really proud of him.

@ nika I went to his last concert here in OKC and a lady from my church is real good friends with his grandparents so I got to go backstage and meet him. I took a pic with him…he was still cool then, but I figured he could not act up with his fam being there, I’m sure they would have checked him real quick lol.
