J-Woww created a stir yesterday when she announced that neither she nor “Jersey Shore” cast member Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi were Italians. J-Woww, 23, is Spanish and Irish, while Snooki, 21, is Chilean. Even before “Jersey Shore” premiered on MTV, Italian Americans protested the show for its negative stereotypes of Italians.
