Angelina Jolie and her baby daddy, actor Brad Pitt, are determined to raise their biological daughter Shiloh as a boy. Pictures of Shiloh with her hair cut short and dyed it brown sparked debates on message board and blogs. I hear that Shiloh prefers to be called “John” rather than Shiloh. My feelings on this are mixed. On the one hand, I think it’s great that Shiloh’s parents are understanding and sympathetic of Shiloh’s sexual preference. And as a mother to boys + girls, sometimes a kid will think another sibling is “cool” and emulate that sibling. It’s just “kid stuff”.

she’s just a tomboy. what’s wrong with that?? i barely wore dresses when i was younger and i turned out great lol i just think this whole “pink is for girls, blue is for boys” nonsense is a shame. colors or ways of dressing shouldn’t define your gender identity-just b/c shiloh isn’t in frilly dresses doesn’t mean they are trying to raise her as a boy or a lesbian

I agree w/ u ladies I have 2 boys 12 and 2 and they are night and day.. My 12 year old is into skinny jeans, skateboards and idolizes Kid Cuddie.. While my 2 year old is a hardcore hip hop fanatic and won’t leave the house w/ out his jeans, chain and yankee fitted on!! All kids are different and maybe she is emulating her dad or one of her brothers..
I had a cousin who from a young age I had a hunch that he would be gay. I mean since the age of 4 or 5 and low and behold he is now gay… Some kids u can tell but for the most part u have no idea and I think Shiloh is just being a kid..
I don’t even think that’s Shiloh in the pic…that’s one of the twins…lol! So what if shiloh is a tomboy…she has two older brothers and is probably just emulating them. A three year old CANNOT have sexual preferences.

My 12yo girl used to loveeee Batman and she had at least 2 Batman bdays, all the action figures…it was a little weird for me. I was a teenager really and here I was with a little girl who only liked boy toys…. She doesn’t even remember it now though. All things pink for her…

I strongly belive that small children know (even though they don’t REALLY know) what they like. How many of us have been oogled by a 3 year old. Hell, my friends son was playng patty cake with me and I watched as he mentally timed when my hand moved away from my chest and that lil n_ukka grabbed my breast!
Also, I can remeber having a mad crush on a boy at the tender age of 4.

I never called Shiloh a lesbian, nor am I implying that she is one. I stated and repeat that being gay doesn’t come with an age and that comment was made based of someone else’s comment, not Sandra’s story. I don’t know what’s going on the child, but I don’t think her mama plays with a full deck.

You’re right. No kid understands ‘sexual preference’ at 3 but it is what it is. No time to go all Human Sexuality and Development. We’ll call it attraction for the sake of this thread. I think the ‘sex’ is ruffling feathers although I’m not implying the physical act.
And they did not “dye” that girls hair, Angelina and Brad both have dark hair. Babies usually start off with light hair and then it gets darker. People need to stop it.

@Daisy! LMAO, the first thing I noticed was Janet’s baby hair and I said to myself did she use brown gel or white gel? Does she really have baby hair like that? Remember Velvet Rope days and Poetic Justice days she had it, then it disappeared so is it like recurring baby hair or is there an actual lace front that gives the appearance of baby hair?

first, babies hair changes colors as they grow older. especially blond children. i have watched my friends son hair change from blonde to a dirty blond just like shiloh.

I think the whole Brad/Angelina/Shiloh/John thing is ridiculous. The child is too young to be putting all those chemicals in her head. Whatever happened to praising and validating your children as a child to love themselves so when they get old they don’t part from it. They understand that hair color and other things are ENHANCEMENTS but by no means are they defining.
Janet looks cute. I’m not sure about her making a comeback though. Maybe she should consider acting full-time and retiring on the music dreams. She’s a descent actress, not great, but descent.
