Local Atlanta Attorney To Be Named New ‘Atlanta’ Housewife
Celebrity blogger ATLIEN got the scoop: Celebrity attorney Phaedra Parks will be named the new housewife on ‘Real Housewives of Atlanta.’ At least she’s married — and to a handsome man too.
You might recall Phaedra from the popular Tiny & Toya Show on BET. She used to represent Tiny & Toya as their attorney. Parks’ entertainment practice focuses on litigation and contract negotiations. She has served as a legal analyst for NBC and Fox News.
Parks is known around the ATL as something of a groupie since her days as Bobby Brown’s legal representative.
What does this mean for fellow cast member Kandi Burruss, who I hear Phaedra doesn’t like? I guess we’ll have to wait and see.
I just got some news that made me run to my dayum laptop! It’s been speculated for a while now, but I just got word from a SOLID source that Attorney Phaedra Parks will be joining the cast of Bravo’s The Real Housewives of Atlanta!
I was sworn to secrecy but y’all already know I can’t keep a dayum secret! I even tried to get Phaedra to confirm but she’s being all tight lipped about it. I called her last night and although she wouldn’t confirm or deny…her reaction to my question was confirmation enough.
You see…Phaedra is amongst the who’s who of this city and has touched the lives of just about everyone in the entertainment industry….including moi! She’s my secret weapon against the demons who stalk me on the site and even represented me in my battle against Usher’s ex.
When I tell you this season is gonna be off the chain…you best believe me! Phaedra ain’t no joke.

Phaedra is crazy for marrying that fine thing, especially in Atlanta. His stock just went way up among these thirsty Atlanta chicks. It’s obvious Phaedra likes the finer things in life, including her men. But the pretty men are the worst kind. Her only hope to keep him faithful is to put an ankle monitor on him. How they moved to Cali from the midwest, while he worked she went to work at a gym and one thing lead to another and she started changing and ended up cheating on him w/ an older guy. He said that she was a plain Jane but moving to Cali changed her 10 fold and one thing lead to another they split…. She met this fool she is married to now and there was a rumor that she did not carry the kids…not so sure about that..

He sure does look like a sleeze…She said something about them being ultra committed and divorce was not an option unless he cheats. When I look at him I picture him creeping down Melrose in LA looking for a hooker to give him a BJ. I don’t know why I feel like that with him, but something about him does not sit well w/ me!

Yea Vicky has always been the same and I’ve been stuck on the OC Housewives since 2005….I find it funny how Slade recycles, after he and the brunette broke up from the first season, wasn’t he fooling around with Vicky??? Or was that someone else? I remember someone was still married & started fooling around with Slade while they were going through their marital problems and it came out on the reunion show…good ole Slade with that little young brunette trying to tie her down & have her raise his kids and here he is 5yrs later living wilder than HER!!!
OC housewives is my s!@t. Here’s my rundown
Tamra-the money is funny so she’s not happy, she’s been telling Vicky things and instead of Vicky keeping it ti her self shes been running her mouth.
Vicky-control freak, she’s having issues with this season because the others are not following her lead and doing what she tells them to do.
Alexis-she seems sneaky and her thinking someone wanted that mudduck is too funny, she looks way older than 33.
Lynn-faked having money, you are living in rentals but getting plastic surgery? everyone talked about the ATL group but they have been evicted 3 times in the past year, her kids are also eff’ed up.
Gretchen-came up off of Jeff and is with Slade to keep her place on the show….she may be a little loose but her advice to Lynn was right.
Jeana-only “normal” one at this point, she got out just in time.
I can’t wait for the NJ and ATL seasons to start.

tamara–like many have said, she’s very jealous. i never understood why she was so pissed at gretchen. gretchen was cool with me til she told that lie about not getting 2.5M from jeff’s estate. i’m thinking she got insurance, which is not part of any estate. she’s making it sound like she’s getting nothing cuz his estate owes 3.5M. i think gretch put that money in some account for the next 2 years as to not pay any taxes on it.

i have hair exactly like phaedra in the second picture. it’s thick and very long. my hairdresser (who i’ve gone to for nearly 18 years) works out of a hole in the wall in the SWATS. if you are looking for a fancy place or name, this is not the one but if you really want someone who has the patience and skill to work with thick hair and has no problem using as much product as she needs to for the perms, curls (i get roller sets), and styles (i’ve also worn it tony braxton short), let me know.

Her reputation around the industry is something of a groupie. It’s a conflict of interest to have celebrity clients when you want to be one yourself. That’s probably why she’s no longer representing Tiny & Toya. She has always chased the limelight so now she got what she wants. I can’t see her getting along with the other cast members because they are all narcissists/women with low self esteem. So they will all be fighting for the same spotlight and there is only one spotlight soooo….

He’s a barber/apprentice which means she upgraded him, basically. It means she thinks he respects her position and status as the breadwinner. It also means she thinks he won’t stray because he doesn’t want to lose a good thing. But she’s wrong on both points. He’ll just use her money to attract women and when she catches him cheating he’ll deny everything and make her think she’s the crazy one. It won’t end well.

I can just say this about Phaedra she was my attorney and she did a very good job for me, negotiated deals, did my contracts, etc and was very fair in charging me. While all these attorneys at Greenberg & Traurig, Kendall Minter, etc. were trying to charge $400 per hour. She kept it real, she was always available and did what she promised. So I can only give her big ups.

My only issue is the way she dresses. If you saw the episode with her and Toya in NY for the book deal, you would have heard her advice to Toya about her attire, tattoos, etc. While it was great advice, how can you give it when you’re about to burst out of your skirt?! I couldn’t hire a lawyer that looks like she’s headed straight for Lucky Lounge.
