Behind the Scenes: Rasheeda & Nivea – Say Sumthing
Here’s behind-the-scenes video footage of Rasheeda and Nivea’s low budget video for their hawt new remake of Drake’s “Say Something.” How can I tell it’s a low budget video? Do you hear all that background noise? Well, I’ve been on enough music video sets to know that a real director isn’t having that.
You hear “QUIET ON THE SET!” more than you hear “bey bey, can I get yo nummer?” Isn’t Nivea a part of Lil Wayne’s harem of baby makers? Couldn’t she come up with $500 dollars for a quality video? I bet Nivea wishes they could actually sell this track and make some change off of it.
But all hate aside, I’m feeling this remake only because Rasheeda is on it. That’s my girl and her time is coming.

Tennis superstar is in a photo shoot for VIBE this month. A snitch in the art department tells me that they Photoshopped the pictures to make Serena look more feminine — on orders of the owner, not Serena. Notice how thin she looks in the pics? Serena is a well-respected tennis star and all, but women with masculine features don’t sell magazines.

Remember Robin Givens, Mike Tyson’s ex-wife who made his life a living hail because she was gorgeous and therefore she could?
Well, nature and old age has finally caught up with her. The paparazzi caught up with her too outside her NYC gym where she had a quick workout. At least she’s staying in shape.
Now that I’ve seen this pic of singer Sean Kingston with his butch queen friend, I have no doubts in my mind that Sean is how U doin. Not that any of you ladies care. I’m sure none of you want him. The duo were spotted arriving at Miami’s airport for Super Bowl week festivities. I LOVE Sean’s Damier graphite Michael backpack. I wish it was available in a smaller version for women.

Rumor has it that a popular music video director based in South Florida can’t keep his hands off the talent on his video sets. To be specific, he’s down with the swirl and is even reportedly married to a black woman.
While he doesn’t discriminate among video vixens (he loves them all). His favorite is a vixen named Brittany (might be spelled differently) who is described as “a bad bish” and “a Beyonce lookalike” with “a really big azz that’s all hers – not fake.”
This director has the hawts for “Brittany” but apparently, she might not be down because he’s been asking all around the vixen community about her and hasn’t landed her yet. Maybe she’s a lesbun?

Trouble in Paradise for Dwyane Wade and Gabrielle Union?
According to a snitch who is close to NBA star Dwyane Wade’s camp, trouble is brewing in paradise.
The snitch (who is a female) says Wade is a confirmed bachelor despite those blog stories you read about him and Gabby being a couple.
The snitch says that after a game last week, she and others in Dwyane’s private circle hung out in a lounge where the players frequent (I’m assuming it’s inside or near the basketball arena). She said that at some point, everyone (including the players) got kicked out of the lounge.
So she followed the group out and that’s when she saw Gabby posted up in the player’s parking garage. The snitch wondered what Gabby was doing there since Dwyane was busy hugged up with a “pretty Puerto Rican female with a head full of curls.” She said the girl “was all over Dwyane.”
The source said that Gabby patiently waited until the two separated and then she strolled over and planted a kiss on Dwyane’s lips “in front of everybody” as if to remind them that Dwyane is her man. The source described the moment as “cute, but messy” and she said Gabby appeared to be very desperate and insecure.
Which is reminiscent of Beyonce’s insecure behavior on the GRAMMY Awards on Sunday when she reminded us that Jay Z is her husband. Women who have been betrayed in relationships will recognize this insecure behavior pop up whenever they have their suspicions about their men. If a woman is confident in her relationship then she has no reason to show out in front of others like Gabby and Beyonce did.
The source went on to say that Dwyane doesn’t claim Gabby as his girlfriend but she does attend every home game. She added that “this is the first time I’ve ever seen [Gabrielle] at that lounge.”
Medical Minute: Tonic-clonic Seizures
Worldstar Hip Hop posted this video of a woman suffering a tonic-clonic seizure on the reality series Celebrity Rehab. Tonic-clonic seizures were formerly referred to as grand mal seizures and involve both sides of the brain.
The tonic phase of the disorder is the shortest, usually lasting a few seconds. This is when the muscles and ligaments tense up, the patient moans and falls to the floor.
The clonic phase, the longest, is when the muscles begin to relax and contract at the same time causing convulsions. It isn’t abnormal for a patient to bite parts of their tongue off during this phase due to the jaws contracting. Some patients will experience an aura or lightheadedness minutes before the seizure comes on.
Once a seizure begins, there isn’t much that can be done other than to make them comfortable (place something soft under their heads like a jacket). Position their heads to the side so that if they vomit they will not choke. And most importantly, make sure their airway is not obstructed by bedding, pillows, etc.
Contrary to popular belief, patients who have seizures do not swallow their tongues. But the tongue can fall back and block the airway.
Seizures can be caused by brain injuries, rapidly flashing lights, fatigue, drugs such as antihistamines, anxiety, diseases such as diabetes, and other factors.
Call 911 if the patient is not a known epileptic (prone to having seizures), or if the patient injures herself or has difficulty breathing. Otherwise, just remain with the patient until the seizure is over. The patient’s limbs will relax and she will appear to be sleeping. Once she is awake, she will be groggy and disoriented for a short period of time.

Musical legends and A-listers galore gathered together at a studio in Hollywood yesterday to record “We Are the World Haiti” with proceeds from the song’s sales going to Haiti relief efforts.
25 years ago, Quincy Jones recorded the original “We Are the World” and asked the megastars, including Michael Jackson, Diana Ross and Bruce Springstein, to check their egos at the door.
The list of artists on this version of WATW reads like a Who’s Who of Hollywood and Hip Hop. LEgends Nancy Wilson, Natalie Cole, Freda Payne, Tony Bennett, Verdine White, Phillip Bailey and Maurice White of Earth, Wind & Fire were all there. The new school was represented by Justin Beiber, Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers.
Surprisingly, Beyonce, Jay Z and Rihanna didn’t make it to the session even though they were in Hollywood yesterday. Wyclef, whose career got a big boost from the tragedy over in Haiti, made himself available for the session. He appears in most of the photos because he annoyingly made himself the center of attention in the room. I’m sure the other narcissists didn’t appreciate him hogging the camera.
