ATL News: Is Rocko Cheating On Monica?; Ciara Makes a Cameo In Usher’s Video
In ATL news today, rumors are spreading that R&B singer Monica and her baby daddy, local rapper Rocko, are no more. Apparently, a jump off got Mo’s cell phone number and has been calling her phone and harassing her. Rumors about Rocko cheating on Monica are old news. Everyone in Atlanta has heard the rumors — including Mo. And that’s all they are: rumors. No one as proven anything.
But Monica does have some legal recourse if a jump off is calling her number constantly harassing her. I just got off the phone with my attorney who told me to advise Mo to get a TPO against the woman immediately — if, in fact, someone is harassing her. In the state of Georgia, it is legal to record a phone call (as long as one party knows) and use that as evidence to obtain a TPO.
I tried to reach Monica after receiving emails about the newest rumor. Here is what she said in a text message just a few minutes ago:
Hey sandra. Just waking up to the madness. I’m in la and worked with polow until 7 this morning. My phone is ringing off the hook and its all driving me a bit crazy because I didn’t askto be mixed in this. But that’s life. There’s always a rainstorm before rainbows. I’m going to call u once I get myself together some.

Pseudo-singer Ciara was spotted walking her adorable doggy in L.A. yesterday. According to Hello Beautiful, the shoot for Usher’s new single “Little Freak” featuring rapper Nicki Minaj went down yesterday and Ciara makes a guest cameo in the video. We don’t know what her part in the video is. But, hopefully it will lend a little boost to her career which is sagging worse than Amber Rose’s flat butt at this point.

Women always know when their man is cheating. Red flags always show bright. He is never around. When a man is into a woman he tries to hold her down if he doesn’t its always another girl/woman/whatever. Even if he is not commited to any of the girls and he jumps from different women nightly he still cannot be attached to you. He is just not ready and sometimes women will wait on that man to go through his phase but when the phase is complete it does not mean you/she will be the women he marries, he must love you really. That reality show and pictures from parties and family events and radio shows give a clear indication that Rocko is truely not apart of Monica’s life. T-Boze tried to tell her give that man some of the responsiblity of cheating. Its not the blame of the WOMEN (Plural for many) its his fault. He is not that into you kids or not.

Guys I have an issue. How do I get thru to a friend who’s with the muttiest of dogs AND is whipping her behind? I’m afraid she will end up dead after this last Ike/Tina episode(minus her fighting back) and it has been almost 10yrs, same mess, just keeps escalating. Everyone is telling me not to get involved, but I refuse to sit front row at a funeral knowing there may have been something I could have done….
He was never present on the reality show and when he did make an “appearance” he was distant and cold. I couldn’t recognize his support of her and the kids or her career.
@Walking…In my experience you are doing all that can be done: Stay in her ear and be ready for that call (rescue) in the middle of the night when SHE is finally fed up (remember youre working on her time)…if everyone else has given up, you might be the last one so dont you give up too.

Just be there for her and let her know you will always be there for her. At this point, that’s all you can do. 10years of abuse is a long time to accept someone hurting you. When she’s ready to leave, make sure you are there to help. And take pictures of her bruises; document everything you witness. That way if she snaps and she needs evidence that he was physically abusive at her trial, you have it.

She doesn’t even have kids with him (still wouldn’t justify it) but it is even more an indication that she needs MENTAL HELP/THERAPY. If she can not afford help…try to get her family to help pay. Otherwise, even if she gets the strength to leave…he could easily convince her to come back to him.

I had a friend tell me about the intervention thing too and I just said yea see if we can even get her away long enough to do it. HE AINT HAVING IT!!!! I agree @KaraZ I know what’s coming next, that’s why I try so hard, I’m trying to avoid it, but even with all that she keeps making excuses. I have a good mind to think that even if we did get her away, once we’re done with her she would go right back!!!

I live in Philly and two of my best friends and my 22 year old neighbor were all killed by boyfriends/husband. Bridget was shot in the face by her husband and he killed himself afterwards; Brennie was abused by her boyfriend and went missing 10 years ago, no one has ever heard from her; Asia was beaten by her boyfriend and set on fire.
The first sign of a man acting possessive and weird…I’m out!
