I live in Philly and two of my best friends and my 22 year old neighbor were all killed by boyfriends/husband. Bridget was shot in the face by her husband and he killed himself afterwards; Brennie was abused by her boyfriend and went missing 10 years ago, no one has ever heard from her; Asia was beaten by her boyfriend and set on fire.

The first sign of a man acting possessive and weird…I’m out!

I had a friend tell me about the intervention thing too and I just said yea see if we can even get her away long enough to do it. HE AINT HAVING IT!!!! I agree @KaraZ I know what’s coming next, that’s why I try so hard, I’m trying to avoid it, but even with all that she keeps making excuses. I have a good mind to think that even if we did get her away, once we’re done with her she would go right back!!!

*sigh* Really trying not to give up, I need a drink now, my head hearts.

She doesn’t even have kids with him (still wouldn’t justify it) but it is even more an indication that she needs MENTAL HELP/THERAPY. If she can not afford help…try to get her family to help pay. Otherwise, even if she gets the strength to leave…he could easily convince her to come back to him.
