The NY Post published this photo of disgraced golfer Tiger Woods and his wife Elin Nordegren-Woods strolling on the grounds of their home inside a gated community in Windemere, Florida (near Orlando). The Post claims this is the first pic of the couple together in public after Elin and the kids moved back into the family home. My guess is Woods will cheat again and Elin will stay with him because she has a codependent personality, which means she’s basically addicted to narcissists like Woods. NY Post

There was a time when former NBA star Jayson Williams’ light skin and good hair made the ladies swoon. Now he doesn’t look so hot wearing prison-issue jumpsuit and staring blankly at us from a jail booking photo snapped by the New Jersey Department of Corrections. Williams was sentenced to five years behind bars for the 2002 shooting death of his limo driver. Williams, who was sentenced last month, will be eligible for parole in 18 months and could be released as early as the summer of 2011. He pleaded guilty to aggravated assault in the death of Costas Christofi on February 14, 2002. He was acquitted of aggravated manslaughter but convicted of four counts of covering up the shooting. We all have our personal convictions. Marriage is like an entanglement and we never know what we will be willing to do to keep it together…i.e. if that is important to you (keeping the marriage together at whatever costs).
I have a friend who married a guy of questionable character, ethics, and morals (nameley because of sex if she were to be honest because she is such a lonely and desperate person…but she says because she wants to set an example for her grandchildren). So now that she is in the marriage, it is more important for her to be married than for her to be happy. Some people hate being alone. They equate being alone as being lonely. I don’t have it all figured out yet so it is what it is…

Sorry to hear this. My oldest sis is at the dr as I type this having a consultation because she has to have a biopsy (found a lump in her breast). She is only 47. So I’m sending prayers up for your sister along with mine. I can’t wait to my sister when I go to FL this weekend. We are having a prayer dinner on Saturday. All my siblings (5 of us) plus our children are going to join hands pray for her and get our grub on afterwards. I’m looking forward to my trip!!

Hi all. I just want to say yes Intense can be intense sometimes but I kinda agree with what she says (though I would put it in a more diplomatic manner).
Once you have seen enough AIDS ravaged women who stuck around for the kids/money/marital status etc…. you will feel hopelessly sorry for Elin and women like her. Some stay because they already are HIV positive and feel they might as well stay on….
All I know is when they test positive the first thing these women say is ‘I wish I had left when it all started’ .

i don’t think I personally said anything about sticking around for money/kids/marital status, etc. none of those are reasons to stay, imo. my point was that none of us ever know the reasons behind another persons choices unless we’ve walked a mile in their shoes, therefore i don’t judge Elin or any other woman/man who stays with a spouse who has strayed. i just get sick of people always saying what they coulda/shoulda/woulda did in the same or similar situations when they wouldn’t bust a grape in a food fight!
