Convicted rapper Lil Wayne showed his true colors on his last night of freedom when he went to see Jay Z in concert last night in NYC. Weezy, who pled guilty to weapons charges last year and will be sentenced today, wore a red bandana in his back pocket to signify his allegiance to the west coast Bloods gang. As you know, rumor has it that the NY Crips will be waiting for Lil Wayne when he enters Riker’s Island today to begin his 12 month sentence. Wayne has routinely worn blue (the Crips color) to his hearings in NY.

Mo’Nique’s Secret To a Happy Marriage: Let Him Cheat
In an interview with ABC’s Barbara Walters, which is set to air on Sunday (Mar. 7), comedienne/actress Monique says the secret to longevity in her marriage is to allow her husband, Sidney Hicks, to stray.
“Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me? Yes. That’s not a deal-breaker,” she told Walters. “That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage.’ We’ve been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are. Oftentimes, people get into marriages and they don’t know who they’re laying next to. I’m very comfortable and secure with my husband.”
Unlike many females who get married with unrealistic fantasies of what married life is supposed to be, Mo’Nique knows that a man is going to do what he was put on earth to do; and that is to populate the earth. It’s in the Bible and it goes against nature to expect a man with a healthy sexual appetite to put out for only one female his entire adult life.
Humans are the only species on earth with unrealistic viewpoints on sex. Rather than follow the rules of nature (to be fruitful and multiply) humans follow our hearts and beliefs, which are sometimes inconsistent with nature.
Asking a man not to creep is like asking him not to eat, sleep or breathe. A study shows that men think about sex on average of every 7 minutes. It’s doubtful that he’s thinking about his wife every 7 minutes.
Some people believe that disgraced golfer Tiger Woods would not be under fire for having sex with 20 women outside of his marriage if he hadn’t gotten married in the first place.
Does that mean that it’s okay for a man to violate his marriage vows? Only if the wife agrees with it — as in Mo’Nique and Sidney’s case. If she doesn’t agree, then it’s best to dissolve the marriage and go their separate ways.
Of course, Mo’Nique has a few tricks to keep her hubby from straying, and that includes her infamously unshaven gams.
“He loves the hairy legs,” Mo says, “and if Sid likes the hairy legs, there you go.”
She even explains to Walters why she chooses to go au naturel: “I tried shaving one time, and it was so uncomfortable and painful. I said never again would I do that to myself.” Besides, says Mo’Nique, “I’m 42 and I’m very hairy.”

Premiere: Nivea – Love Hurts
As you know, rapper Lil Wayne shot about 30 videos before turning himself in to be sentenced to a year in prison today. His last video was for his baby mama Nivea’s single “Love Hurts”. The Remedy LLC has more details below.

In the final days before reporting for his highly-publicized impending jail sentence, Grammy Award-winning, multi-platinum rapper Lil Wayne has been very busy, squeezing in as much work as he can before his 8-12 month sentence at Riker’s Island. And his every move has been very well documented, from the 10 videos he shot with Young Money in one night, to his impromptu appearance alongside Young Jeezy during the Madison Square Garden stop of Jay-Z’s Blueprint 3 Tour on Tuesday (Mar 2).
The one thing that has YET to be documented was his last minute decision to appear in ex-girlfriend Nivea’s first video from her forthcoming fourth studio album *Purple Heart*. The clip for “Love Hurts,” finds Nivea revisiting the memories of an ended romance. As she walks through the house she once shared with her former love, played by Wayne, Nivea revisits the good times and bad.
Wayne agreed to appear in the video on just two days’ notice, appearing on set for close to two hours of the nearly 12-hour shoot, less than a week before his scheduled sentencing. With Wayne now scheduled to be sentenced today (Mar 3), Nivea, the mother of Wayne’s three-month-old son, is one of the many artists offering words of encouragement:
“Wayne, I pray for your endurance during this difficult time. Know that your mind, heart, spirit and talent will prove to be stronger than the confinement of those walls.”
The “Love Hurts” video features a never before heard remix of the song, which was originally released on Valentine’s Day. *Purple Hearts *is due out in late Summer 2010.

Obama To Pitch Smaller Health Care Bill Tomorrow
According to Fox News, (Mar. 3) U.S. President Barack Obama plans to pitch a smaller, more streamlined health care bill tomorrow than the one he introduced 3 days ago.
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi says she hopes the new bill will garner the necessary GOP votes to pass:
“It will be a much smaller proposal than we had in the House bill because that’s where we can gain consensus. But it will be big enough to put us on a path of affordable, quality health care for all Americans that holds insurance companies accountable.”…
Melody Barnes, a top Obama domestic policy adviser, says Pelosi and Obama have drafted a smaller bill “borrowing” from conversations at Thursday’s health care summit. The new bill will contain a few carrots that the GOP can nibble on, such as tort reform and purchasing insurance across state lines so that consumers get more choices than what’s available in plans in their states.
Barnes went on to say, “We’re going to be borrowing from those conversations…to come up with a bill that we hope can receive bipartisan support.”
In other words, the Obama administration will come down off their high horses and listen to what members of the GOP have been saying all along. Obama campaigned on a promise of bipartisanship, but after taking office he has made little effort to be bipartisan.
So now, even if Obama is pretending to be bipartisan (as some suspect), he will have to put his money where his mouth is if he wants any sort of health care bill to pass.

Lil Wayne’s Sentencing Postponed Again
Convicted rapper Lil Wayne’s serntencing was postponed for a second time in less than 3 weeks. Just when a judge was about to slap the chains on him and order the correction’s officers to take him away, someone yelled, “FIRE!”
Well, that’s not really how it went down. But what we do know is Wayne doesn’t have to report to Riker’s Island today because of a basement fire at the Manhattan courthouse.
As you know, Lil Wayne was supposed to be sentenced today to a year in prison for carrying a .45 handgun concealed in a Louis Vuitton bag on a tour bus in 2007. The truth is, I don’t even know if Weezy made it into the courtroom before his hearing was postponed. There’s no word on when his hearing will be held.
When Weezy is finally sentenced, he won’t be wearing this diamond encrusted $1 million dollar Chopard watch that his mentor Baby gave him for his 27th birthday. But he was wearing it this past weekend at a party in Atlanta.
