I honestly don’t give a rat azz about who is gay. For real. Sandra keep acting like she is doing all us straight women a favorite by pointing out who she thinks is gay when the very people she thinks is not gay probably is.
Furthermore, I understood the cake scene and Janet(Pat) was clear about her reason for doing it to him during the scene.

They both did not deal with the death of their son as a couple. He was obviously drinking more and continuing to secretly blame her and she poured herself into her books and speaking engagements. He felt she stopped loving him a long time ago and began to simply tolerate him.

I said the same thing. I have seen all those scenarios in couples that I have known…overbearing/possessive, laid-off and frustrated, non-sexual cheating,pretending to be happy… yes ma’am this is very real.

@Daisy- I wanted Angela to mature too! She was soooo insecure that is why she was so darn possessive. She really didn’t think a man like Brian could want to love and stay with her. If there is a part 3 I want her to be on that next level and emotionally grow.
Pefect Patty was just waiting to crack. I think her blow up was a combo of Gavin’s reaction to their divorce and her holding in all of that hurt and guilt about her son’s death. Janet did a helluva job doing it too.

@LoveZoe- If there is a part 3, they need to expand it to other couples and include Janet and her new man.

I loved Terry’s smoothness because it reminds women that men pay way more attention than we realize.

The Angela in my life is one of my best friends, she is educated, works in corporate American and successful but is still over-the-top ala ghetto. At times her antics get on my last nerves but her personality has so much honesty to it that I really appreciate it at the same time.

Yes girl. Men try to pretend to be all aloof but they notice plenty and will call it out when needed. Unlike women we call everything out ALL the time( Angela) so it makes our concerns seem trivial and fruitless.

Yep. That honesty is more important to me than all the decorum in the world. I have had “high-class all the time” friends that I would not trust because they are nothing more than a front.

I don’t care what nobody says: Shemar Moore got hammered from behind by Twyla Purty just to land that role in Diary of a Mad Black Woman. He was not a fit for that part…then again, Twyla never casts his coon-vies correctly.

I thought Shemar did a good job in the movie especially the scene where he tells “I may not be able to give you all you are use to, but I can love you past your pain”. That line made my heart melt and he looked so innocent saying it.
