Monica Announces Tour With Trey Songz

R&B, which was on life support, just got a much needed shot in the arm with the announcement of a tour featuring two of the biggest R&B acts in music! Mo made the announcement on Atlanta’s Fox 5 news. The official tour doesn’t start until August. But the two singers are doing spot dates right now.

“Kevin Liles Has always been supportive of me and my career for a long time now,” said Mo via cell phone from her custom tour bus on the road last night.

“He actually manages Trey. So he asked would I like to come out on tour and to do some dates prior. I told him I would be honored because what it does is it gives me a chance to gel and learn how to make things work smoothly before the tour actually starts.”

Last night Monica and Trey performed to a packed house in Aiken, S. Carolina and attended an after party in Spartanburg, SC.

Tomorrow’s show is in Elizabeth City, N. Carolina. Monica was really excited to be on the road with Trey. “It’s amazing The energy is incredible!,” said Mo.

Yesterday, Mo tweeted these photos of a brand new $126,000 Porsche Panamera S given to her by her cousin, Polow Da Don, in celebration of the success of her #1 album, Still Standing.

I’m not really a car person. But I will put two new car seats in the back for my boys. It’s a really, really nice car. Polow just wanted to surprise me. It was the best surprise ever! It really made me feel good to know that he thought that much of me. We have a lot of cousins! Our bond is like brother and sister really. The funny things is I didn’t even get to touch it! I had to come to Aiken, so they’re sending it to the rim shop to get some white on white 22-inch rims with with hot pink brake pads. We’re going to keep it girly!

I just commented in there. Maybe she blocked you from commenting so that there won’t be any back and forth between you and whoever.
I went to your blog and I like the new set up but you can catch more bees with honey if you would stop flip flopping. I think that is why ppl are always going in on you. I’ve had my moments because you often times leave yourself wide open to the criticism. Just chill out and do you without all the back and forth crap. Obviously blogging is your thing and that is really what you are interested in but just find ways to go about it other than your latest avenues. @Anna CB performed at some thing today and yeah I think he if slowly making his way back but its gonna take time for him to get to his previous level. In my honest opinion although I like Trey I would never pay to see him in concert. I love the last cd but its been out so long I’m over it already and his older stuff never did it for me. If CB ever comes back and keeps getting his grown man on like he did on the mixtape I feel sorry for poor little Trey cause Chris can sing, dance and put on a good show. As far as Monica I honestly wouldn’t pay to see her. She can sing her ass off but when she first came out she was too grown and too hood to me so I never really got into her music to where Ive ever anticipated an album from her. And I’m not really feeling the single either which is why I’ve yet to buy the cd although I am glad she finally is finding success like someone with her talent should.

As far as Ben R. the man is white. Is anyone really surprised. A white celebrity or athlete could kill someone in front of the cops and 9 times out of 10 they’ll walk and on the 10th time they’ll go to rehab This is the good ol US of A anything else would be too much like right

Daisy I hated his braids they turned me off to him before I could even listen to his music and when I did I just wasn’t impressed. I didn’t really take notice of him til the BET awards (which I’m still mad at that damn mj tribute) when he sang with Johnny Gill and Tyrese. If I hadn’t seen that I would’ve never bought the new cd.
