This Video Should Scare You…
When I was a kid in Sunday school, there was a church Deacon who always asked the little girls for kisses. The parents of the children would grin from ear to ear like it was their proudest moment to see the Deacon practically molesting their daughters.
Those memories came flooding back to me yesterday when I watched this video of a children’s game show host molesting children in front of a national audience. It is so obvious that the host is a pedophile, but watch how the mothers of the children blindly ignore his perverted behavior because no one is complaining.
I feel that if one parent had complained about the church Deacon when I was a kid, it would have opened the other parents’ eyes to his abuse. This is what goes on in your churches and in your schools on a daily basis. Open your eyes and be aware!

Pinky I saw but did not hear. The man is a perv. :wth: kind of mess is this. By the hair style and clothing it looks like the 70′s and reminds me of Richard Dawson when he wanted to kiss all the ladies on the mouth on Family Feud. The host in the clip invaded territory way before any kiss.

I remember as a kid, my mom called me into a room to do the latest dance wich was called the “NASTY” (in los angeles)..and because their were men in the room..my dad, who was primaryly the soft one….went slap off!!

This is absolutely DISGUSTING! and shame on the parents for sitting there knowing good and well they were uncomfortable to let it happen. I have a daughter and I cringe when a man gives too many compliments to my little girl. I don’t trust any man around my child. I think all parents of children should feel the same.

I thought I read somewhere that the man in the video years later was convicted of child molestation. The reason why the video is circulating now. The question above the video read something like “why didn’t they say something sooner the studio knew he was a perv”.

I can’t see the video but I am very upset by the comments. When my sister and I were little our neighbor used to want us to sit in his lap. We used to run and laugh but now as an adult I realize how sick he was.

This video doesn’t make me uncomfortable, it makes me MAD AS HAYLE!!! WTF, their mothers are sitting right NEXT TO THEM WHILE he’s being inappropriate with their daughters! I know the society is now a different one that the late 70′s but only ONE mother in this clip called it like she saw it? Calling him a dirty old man. This was sexual harassment and intimidation of children at its finest.
Could not, would not be ME! All my little ones, boys and girls, I try my damndest to make sure nobody is doing anything inappropriate with them. We don’t force the children in our family to hug or kiss or even talk to anyone they don’t want to. And like my momma, none of my siblings allow any other adults to sleep over their homes. Wow, still can’t believe these mothers allowed this type of access to their children.

That video was scary. Ugh. The fact that he was so bold with it and nobody, not even the parents said a word. I hate that I missed that Oprah show. I wonder is it online somewhere.
The perv’s name is Fergie Olver. He was the host of a Canadian game show called “Just Like Mom” that aired from 1980 to 1987. The show featured mothers and daughters answering questions separately in which points were awarded for matching answers. Apparently, Olver hosted the show with his then-wife Catherine Swing, who was Miss Canada 1978, according to IMDB. They are now divorced.
From the comments, I knew I didn’t want to see the video and I have no intention of watching it.
