Usher’s Projected Sales Figures Are In
First Monica’s Still Standing CD defied all odds by claiming the #1 spot on the R&B chart with 184,000 copies sold in the first week, and now R&B singer Usher is projected to sell 350,000 units of his much-maligned Raymond vs. Raymond CD, which dropped yesterday. Wow.
According to Hits Daily Double, Usher is looking set to silence the naysayers next week. Based on first day sales, the R&B crooner’s latest LP ‘Raymond v Raymond’ is a cert for the #1 spot on the Billboard 200, with current figures suggesting the album could top the 350,000 mark in first week sales.
I guess there’s something to be said for real talent despite the fact that every single track on Usher’s album leaves something to be desired.

me and hubby were just talking about who would sound good remaking some of the classic R&B songs. I want Ruben Studdard to redo one of Luther’s ballads. Jahiem should def do a remake of one of Teddy P’s classics. Monica has a beautiful voice and could remake just about anything and it would sound good. anyhoo, i could go on and on but was just agreeing with your post.

Do you still think the same or do the same things @ 22? For heaven’s sake, he’s a man now. He’s been married and he has kids. An artist has to evolve. Either you love it or you don’t. He can’t stay young for you! If he didn’t evolve, he’ll be like Ginuwine, still grinding on the stage like he was 10 years ago!

at her Grace joke but she also tweeted for ppl to go buy Ushers cd. I have not been impressed so I have no desire to buy Ushers cd but I am glad he will cone out on top. I wasn’t feeling him on idol last night either. I did like diddy n dirty money though #dontjudgeme

I purchased the CD and I am very pleased…it is great. I love all of the songs except for OMG and Monstar. My favorites are Hey Daddy, Foolin’ Around, Guilty, and Making Love.

I pre-ordered Usher’s new album. I really like it! Nothing will ever compare to his “Confessions” album. He has grown as a man so his music has changed. I am happy for both him and Monica! It’s good to see people buying great music!
I don’t like Ursher, never had never will. Something about him turns me off…
with four kids at home I don’t see how she has so much time to be on twitter as much as she is. all she does it tweet subliminal messages all day about Usher. She is so quick to call Grace a jumpoff, wasn’t she messing around with Usher while she was still maried to her 1st husband and he was with Chili? She still loves and wants Usher she is so obvious. She needs to grow up and move on already.
I LIKE IT, Usher’s album grew on me but i think many people forget that he’s grown now, there can’t be another confessions.
