Legendary supermodel Iman called in favors and pulled rank to get “dance music performer” Kelly Rowland kicked off of Bravo’s The Fashion Show.

Alessandra Ambrosio was rumored to take Kelly Rowland’s spot on Bravo’s The Fashion Show, hosting alongside Isaac Mizrahi, but Iman got the job. We don’t feel bad for Alessandra, who has plenty of other work, but what about Kelly? How will she get attention now? Hopefully Miss Universe is hiring dance-music performers again.

i can see if this were her new found passion. when the show ended, kelly returned to music. it’s only befitting that someone in fashion host this show. kelly wouldn’t have a clue what these designers have to really go thru in that industry. she had stylists working for her. she has a beautiful voice. that is her moneymaker right there. stick to that.

i’m surprised the show got picked up for a second season, although i liked it…but i love isaac mizrahi’s personality. kelly didn’t add much to the show, so i am interested in seeing what iman brings to the table.

No. Kelly is CAN NOT “carry” a song. Her voice isn’t strong or “expressive” enough. She’s good to chime in with an occassional note, but that’s about the extent of her talent.
I’m glad she got that tit job tho.
Kelly should just stick to singing…its what she does. I don’t knock people when they are on their hustle but I believe a person should be the best at one thing at least before they start adding other shyt to their plate. Celebs who sing/act/reality show/perfume line/clothing designer sell themselves short because they end up being mediocre at all of them. Plus they end up spreading themselves thin and saturating the market because they seem to be everywhere…and people will eventually get tired of them and wish they would go away.

Kelly is like a church choir member. She blends in well with the group and can sometimes do a duet justice, but by herself? No mam! Anyone remember when she and Beyonce performed solo at the BET awards? It was ASHAME at how unforgettable Kelly’s performance was compared to Bee’s and others. You could barely hear her and it seemed as if she was intimidated and need more confidence and stage presence.
Her duet with Nelly was hot.
Her duet with Trina was hot.
Her solo stuff—not so hot.
So she did break up with Branson? Is he the one actually behind this? Iman will not be better than Kelly, she has ZERO personality with her deadpan face and monotone voice.
