US president Barack Obama went one-on-one with CNN’s Larry King last night. Obama told King that he was “furious” at BP for causing the oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.

Barack failed to mention that he himself accepted responsibility for the BP oil mess. Or that he just last week said “the buck stops with me.”

Typical of most narcissists, Barack has trouble accepting blame or guilt for anything. But he will happily take credit where credit is not due. Obama didn’t bring up how the federal government dragged it’s feet in response to the disaster until the media began focusing on it.

But he did say how angry he was.

“I would love to just spend a lot of my time venting and yelling at people, but that’s not the job I was hired to do. My job is to solve this problem and ultimately this isn’t about me and how angry I am.”

Obama reiterated that BP has the best technology and know-how to try to stop the leak. Unfortunately, the leak won’t be completely stopped until August — which cuts dangerously close to the midterm elections in November.

Knowing that, King asked Obama his thoughts on the latest CNN Poll that showed Obama at 48 percent support among the American people.

“Given everything that’s going on, my poll numbers are all right,” Obama said.
