Gary Coleman Was Divorced When Ex-Wife Pulled Plug
According to online reports, Gary Coleman was divorced from Shannon Price when she gave doctors the authority to remove him from life support on May 28th.
The 42-year-old actor had suffered a serious head injury from a fall in his kitchen two days earlier.
In a 911 call placed from his home by his ex-wife, Gary could be heard in the background asking “what’s wrong?” Coleman was later diagnosed with intracranial bleeding and his condition worsened over the next 48 hours.
Price originally told the hospital that she was Coleman’s wife, but court documents prove that Coleman’s divorce from Price was finalized on August 12, 2008. Still, the couple continued to live together in his Utah home.
And, according to Eonline, even if Price lied about her marital status, she had the legal right to make the decision to pull the plug because Coleman had previously named her in his advanced directive (living will).
“Mr. Coleman had completed an Advanced Health Care Directive that granted Shannon Price permission to make medical decisions on his behalf if he was unable to do so,” reads a statement released by Utah Valley Regional Medical Center to E! News.
“An Advanced Health Care Directive remains in effect regardless of a patient’s marital status, unless modified by the patient. It is a private medical document which the hospital does not have permission to release. However, we received permission to confirm that the document was in effect at the time of Mr. Coleman’s death.”
No other information is available due to federal privacy statutes.
It’s important to note that Price did not kill Coleman by pulling the plug — he was already brain dead by the time he was removed from life support.
Doctors had already independently confirmed that there was no electrical activity in Coleman’s brain for 24 hours before pulling the plug. Additionally, doctors were confident that if he was removed from life support, his brain function alone could not sustain life.

You already know how T.I. and Tiny get down. So this should come as no surprise to any of you. I’ve said this repeatedly on my blog: that a powerful man is always going to have his jump off on the side. But Tiny will always be T.I.’s main lady and his side pieces know that. T.I. has already said that he’s not leaving Tiny. The two are expected to tie the knot at a private ceremony later this month. But that doesn’t mean that there won’t be other women — and Tiny knows that.

Convicted woman beater Chris Brown is making a career out of getting paid gigs at nightclubs since he can’t make money doing anything else.
His management team has gone AWOL. Radio stations won’t play his music and no legitimate promoter will sign him to a U.S. tour because no venue will take the risk of booking him there.
Knowing all of this makes Chris Brown a very bitter and depressed young man. He has taken to drowning his sorrows in the bottom of liquor bottles.
RadarOnline.com has learned that the singer got so intoxicated Tuesday night he literally fell off the couch..
“Chris was out at Greenhouse nightclub last night in New York City and got so wasted that he fell off the couch,” an insider at the club told RadarOnline.com exclusively. “He had to be picked up off the ground by his security team!”
Chris was drinking Ace of Spades champagne mixed with Patron tequila and hung out with rappers Lil Jon and Gucci Mane, sources told RadarOnlne.com. Before making it to Greenhouse nightclub at nearly 2 am, Chris and his crew had been at Perfection strip club in Queens.
“Girls were all over Chris trying to make their way to his table,” the source continued. “He wasn’t really too talkative and seemed pretty cocky and arrogant. He took off his shirt and danced around in his tank top undershirt until the bar closed.”

Gary Coleman’s Wife’s 911 Call: “There’s Blood Everywhere”
In a 911 call posted on TMZ.com, Gary Coleman’s wife Shannon Price told a dispatcher that Coleman fell and hit his head while at his Utah home.
“He just got home, I heard his head bang… I went downstairs… there’s blood everywhere,” she told the dispatcher.

During the 911 call, Price told the dispatcher she was too sick to drive to drive him to the hospital because she had a fever. She said that at one point Coleman was frothing at the mouth and she didn’t know if he’d had a seizure.
Moments later she said Coleman was sitting and then standing. “Sit down Gary!” she can be heard yelling. “He’s got blood all over the back of his head… I’m gagging. I’ve got blood on myself. I can’t deal,” she said when the dispatcher insisted that she give Coleman a towel to staunch the bleeding. “I can’t do anything for him,” she said.
During the call, which sounds fishy to me, Price can be heard ordering her dogs away from Coleman.
Coleman died on Friday (May 28) from an intracranial hemorrhage after falling at home. Coleman and Price were in the process of getting a divorce at the time of his death.
