The Boondocks Outs Tyler Perry and His Light Skinned Pretty Boy Fetish
Last night’s episode of Adult Swim’s The Boondocks cartoon subliminally outed director/playwright Tyler Perry and his fetish for casting light skinned pretty boy actors in his movies and plays.
Despite the fact that Perry’s sexuality is no secret, the episode titled ‘Pause’ triggered a storm of tweets on the popular social networking website Twitter.com. The comic’s creator, Aaron McGruder, became the #1 trending topic as a result.
A study done by me shows that the majority of sistas still refuse to believe Tyler Perry is gay. It’s amazing to me how blind some black women are to the obvious sexual preferences of 68% of black men in our community.
The Boondocks follows the comical attempts of two brothers, Huey and Riley, to assimilate following a move from Chicago to the boonies.
Perry, a classic narcissist who can’t tolerate the slightest criticism, will no doubt react publicly to McGruder’s outing of him. And when he does, I will post it!

PICS: Magnum Live Large VIP Party Hosted By Ludacris

R&B Diva Monica attended the Magnum Live Large VIP Condom party hosted by Ludacris backstage at the Philips Arena yesterday. Rappers made a big show of snatching up hundreds of magnum condoms. But I hear from local strippers that most of those rappers don’t measure up — if you know what I mean.

Monica looked absolutely fabulous in her all-white ensemble last night!

Mo tweeted a pic of her CL’s. Mo’s shoe game is ridiculous!

Pseudo-singer Ciara was seen running from the cameras backstage at the Philips Arena yesterday. Maybe because she knew that all the blogs would be talking about her tragic lacefront wig piece on Monday?
Happy Father’s Day

Happy Father’s Day to all the real daddies and to the brothas who are father’s to other men’s sons!
The Last Emperor’s “Do You Remember” is one of my favorite music videos. When I first saw this video my heart melted. Not so much for the lyrics, but for the poignant scenes of fathers with their children at Manhattan’s famous Rucker Park.
Do you remember when fathers used to love hanging out with their children instead of their “boys”?
If you are a single man with no children, please take the time to show love to a fatherless boy instead of hanging out on the corner. You would be his hero and it would mean so much to his world.
My father drank himself to death in 1974. So, no father’s day for me. But here are some special Father’s Day tweets from my Twitter timeline:

Crime: Sister, Boyfriend Charged in 12-Year-Old Boy’s Death

A woman and her boyfriend are in the Fulton County jail charged with murder in the death of the woman’s 12-year-old brother.
Police said Sabrina Powell and her boyfriend, Omar Pitts, were charged with felony murder in the death of 12-year-old Jaytavious Mahone, who died from heat stroke (hyperthermia) on Thursday.
The couple admitted punishing the boy by forcing him to stand outside holding a paint bucket for hours with no water to drink. This past week, the temperature in Atlanta has hovered above the 90-100 degree mark.
Police said Sabrina Powell and her boyfriend, Omar Pitts, were charged with felony murder and cruelty to children in the death of 12-year-old Jaytavious Mahone on Thursday.
The Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office said the 12-year-old boy who was reported to have suffered a heat stroke did not die of natural causes.
Cpl. Kay Lester of the Fulton County Police Department said officers received a call to Camelot Drive just after 3:30 p.m. Thursday. Police said the call came in that a 12-year-old boy was suffering from heat stroke.
Paramedics arrived on the scene and began to try to resuscitate the boy, police said. He was transported to South Fulton Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Heat stroke occurs when the body temperature remains consistently elevated above normal, and the body is unable to dissipate the heat. Children and the elderly are especially susceptible to heat stroke during the Summer.
Celebs Out & ABout: Taraji P. Henson, Idris Elba, Fabolous, Amber Rose

Someone named Dawnie B. had a birthday party at Talay’s in NYC last night. The guest list included notable celebs such as troubled rapper Fabolous and actors Taraji P. Henson and Idris Elba pictured above. Dawnie must be somebody in her little corner of the world to draw this caliber of talent. I wonder who she is.

Actress Taraji P. Henson, left, posed with a guest whose name shall not be spoken on this blog unless it’s connected to a scandal.
Man Executed By Firing Squad (I Bet Lil Boosie is Glad He’s Not in Utah)

When I read the headline on CNN.com that a man was executed by firing squad toay, I naturally assumed that the execution took place in a foreign country. I was wrong.
According to CNN, the Utah Dept. of Corrections reports that convicted killer Ronnie Lee Gardner was executed by firing squad early this morning. Firing squad? I’m all for capital punishment for ruthless murderers, but how barbaric is that? They don’t play in Utah! I’m guessing the crime rate is real low there.
Gardner is the third man killed by firing squad in Utah since capital punishment was reinstated there in 1976.
Gardner was convicted and sentenced to death for gunning down an attorney during a botched escape attempt from a courthouse in 1985. Someone slipped Gardner the gun prior to his court appearance where he was on trial for murdering a man in 1984.
Utah Gov. Gary Herbert rejected Gardner’s appeals for a commutation of his sentence to life. And the Supreme court sealed his fate by rejecting a stay of execution on Thursday.
Here are the gruesome details of the execution:
A hood was placed over Gardner’s head and a paper target pinned to his chest. He was heavily restrained as a five-person firing squad took aim at the target and shot him, witnesses said.
Journalists who witnessed the shooting said it happend quickly. One reporter said she noticed that Gardner moved after he was shot.
“It was over pretty quickly,” said Cheryl Worsley, a local radio reporter. “It was cleaner than I expected. It was fast. But he moved. He moved a little bit, and to some degree that bothers me.”
I bet rapper Lil Boosie is glad he didn’t commit his crimes in Utah. Yesterday, a Louisiana Grand Jury indicted Lil Boosie, real name Torrence Hatch, on a murder charge in connection with the Oct. 21 shooting death of Terry Boyd.
Celebs Out & About: Ciara, Halle Berry, Serena Williams, Omarion

Pseudo-singer Ciara was spotted shopping at Intermix yesterday in West Hollywood, California. She shopped with her dog and they both looked very lonely. That’s what happens when you’re mean and can’t keep any friends.

Singer Omarion, right, and he whose name shall not be spoken, were seen entering the Staples center for thaat boring Game 7 of the NBA Finals between the Boston Celtics and the LA Cry Babies.
