FanMAIL: A 2-year update from Tyre LaJuan

The last time I wrote a post about loyal reader Tyre LaJuan, the thread was riddled with hateful comments towards the young designer. I expressed my disappointment in my SR family, who I thought were intelligent and mature.

Let’s see if my readers have matured any now that LaJuan is donating one of his unique Swarovski crystal shoes to one lucky SR reader (he doesn’t know this yet, but I don’t wear heels).

Hey Sandra, this is Tyre Lajuan custom shoe designer. I would like to thank you for the post you posted a couple years back. Since then I have meet numerous of clients and been part of movies and other gigs. Its crazy how something that was so small turn out so big. I honestly didn’t know your readers was so wide range not only in age but diversity. I was shocked and really was privilege to be part of your world.

I respect your profession and site more then any other site not because of you but because of your cut throat blogger’s and bloggett’s, lol. They teach one to have thick skin, and help individuals realize what a opinion really is. Even though some words hurt it helps build character and makes you stronger (well that’s what I got from it).

I appreciate you being real and being you, that’s why I enjoy your site so much. I must admit I am kinda a local now. I would like to send you one of my Swarvoski Crystal custom hand made rosaries, also a pair of custom Swarvoski crystallized shoes at at value price no greater than $2000 your design and diamond election.

SN: – (you will be calling soon after for a second pair- lol). Just for a quick rundown of what my company offers: I am a artist director (photography), Accessory designer, Custom Shoe designer, fashion designer, Tailor interior design (for interior designers), Stylist (who isn’t these days lol, I rather work with stylist)…… Customize shoes of any kind from sneakers, heels, boots, etc.

UPS is a mess. I ordered 4 pairs of shoes and they left them at my neighbors. There wasn’t a note on my door, but when I got out of my car my neighboring was meeting me w/them. I didn’t even like my neighbor like that, she could have kept the shoes and I would have not known. I ship everything to the office now.

Not to condemn him for what he’s doing because i’ve always been a fan of people who are artistic and original. However, I must address his grammer in the email. His designs are great and those boots are kick a** but please work on the business side also, and by that I mean writing in a professional manner.
