Married Bulldogs AD Had Woman’s Panties in His Lap When Stopped for DUI

The University of Georgia’s athletic director Damon Evans has tendered his resignation after reaching a separation settlement with the university.

According to the police report obtained by the AJC, Evans, 40, was “smiling and laughing” when his BMW 750i was pulled over on Roswell Rd. in Buckhead late Wednesday night.

Evans refused to take a breathalyzer test and he was transported to Fulton county jail where he spent the night. Evans obviously thought Bulldog nation extended to Buckhead from Athens where his name carries a little more weight:

“I am not trying to bribe you but I’m the athletic director of the University of Georgia,” he said. Later, he made another attempt, saying: “I don’t want you to use who I am but I would just ask that you take me to a motel.” [link]

When the cop asked Evans why he had a pair of red panties between his legs, he responded, “She took them off and I held them because I was just trying to get her home.”

Khloe Kardashian Wants You To Be Very, Very Jealous

It’s bad enough that socialite/reality TV personality Khloe Kardashian took one bachelor baller off the market, but now she wants to rub your face in it too. Khloe posted these hawt vacations pics on her blog today:

Lamar’s and my vacation to Mexico was exactly what we needed after the past few months of work work work! We both were in desperate need of some play time, and when I say play time, I actually mean down time LOL. This trip was so wonderfully relaxing — we swam and laid out by the pool all day and just took it easy at night. Rob, Malika and Lamar’s friend Jamie came with us, such a fun crew!

Does Angela Simmons know who this Malika chick is that’s vacationing with her man?

Celebs Out & About: Mo’Nique, Gucci Mane, Trina

Comedienne and Academy Award-winning actress Mo’Nique posed with a pair of 3-D glasses as she prepared to visit “Captain EO” on the film’s grand re-opening day at Epcot Center in Lake Buena Vista, Fla today. The musical 3-D film, which stars Michael Jackson, was presented at Epcot from 1986-1994. After a long hiatus, the space adventure film re-opened July 2 at the Walt Disney World Resort theme park. Mo’Nique, who received an Academy Award for her role in “Precious: Based on the Novel ‘Push’ by Sapphire,” also was among the 135 artists, performers and executives invited on June 25, 2010 to join the prestigious Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences. Thanks to K A C, Images and U, LLC for this behind the scene outtake of Trina and Gucci Mane’s URBAN INK magazine cover shoot. The issue Aug/Sept issue is slated to drop next month. The theme is “DIAMOND AND GUCCI.”  Kodak Boi/www.kiddunot.com

Speaking of Gucci Mane, many of my readers emailed me the link to a video of rapper Gucci Mane punching a female rapper in a nightclub. Judging from the video (which you can view after the break), you can see that the female rapper walked away without a scratch on her face.

We can’t say the same about Rihanna whose bloody and battered face in a police evidence photo made her the poster girl for domestic abuse.

The video is after the break. The actions starts around the 1:55 sec. mark.

Apple Admits Its New iPhone 4 is Garbage

Facing the threat of a class action lawsuit, Apple now admits its new iPhone 4 has reception problems and are promising a fix soon. But there’s a catch: Apple continues to deny the problem is with the phone’s hardware.

Rather than admit they rushed a defective product to market, Apple released a press statement today attributing the problem to the way the signal bars are being displayed.

“Users observing a drop of several bars when they grip their iPhone in a certain way are most likely in an area with very weak signal strength, but they don’t know it because we are erroneously displaying 4 or 5 bars. Their big drop in bars is because their high bars were never real in the first place.

Clearly, Apple doesn’t think very highly of their customers’ IQs. But then again, Apple’s customers do line up like brainless sheeple to buy their products.

Apple’s evasive attitude is consistent with CEO Steve Jobs repeated denials that a problem exists with the phone’s reception. A law firm is in the process of building a class action lawsuit against Apple.

From CNN.com:

After initially dismissing the reports about the iPhone 4 antenna reception issue, Apple has officially admitted it exists, promising a software fix in a couple of weeks. There’s a catch, though.

Apple’s promised fix may not be good news for users experiencing the problem. Apple claims it has erroneously calculated the formula which displays signal bars on the iPhone, and therefore the iPhone has been showing too many bars in areas with weak signal strength.

Unfortunately, this seems like Apple is only acknowledging one part of the problem. Anandtech’s in-depth analysis showed that the signal drop when you grip the iPhone 4 by its lower-right side is very real.

$20 Million Settlement for Jaycee

California’s government may be on the brink of going broke, but lawmakers there were able to find $20 million to settle a lawsuit brought by a California woman.

Jaycee Dugard, now 30, was held captive for 20 years by a pedophile who the state was supposed to be monitoring. Dugard and her children are now multi-millionaires.

Jaycee Dugard’s daughters Angel, 15, (bottom, right) and Starlit, 11, (above, right), are already taller than she is.

A woman held captive for nearly two decades by a rapist out on parole will receive $20 million from the state of California for her ordeal, during which she bore two children to the man whom officials were supposedly monitoring.

Lawmakers approved the settlement Thursday for Jaycee Dugard, now 30, and her two daughters, who resurfaced last August after being held in a secret backyard by a suspect identified by authorities as Phillip Garrido.

“It is compensation for three people for the rest of their lives who have been horribly damaged over a period of 17 or 18 years,” mediator Daniel Weinstein told The Associated Press.

Dugard and her daughters, ages 15 and 12, filed claims in February, saying parole agents with the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation began supervising Garrido in 1999 but didn’t discover them.

The Dugard family members claimed psychological, physical and emotional damages. “I can’t emphasize enough that we’ve got to be much more prudent in terms of how we provide oversight for released prisoners in the state of California,” Assemblyman Ted Gaines, R-Granite Bay, said. Read More…

Celebs Out & About: Mary J Blige, Tiger Woods, Halle Berry, Kelly Rowland

Just yesterday I said to myself I wouldn’t post anymore pics of pseudo-celeb Amber Rose unless she was wearing something spectacular. The professional beard was spotted leaving the London Hotel in NYC yesterday.

Troubled golfer Tiger Woods was photographed working out in a local Bally’s Gym in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania yesterday. He’s in Philly for the AT&T National tournament this weekend. Tiger hasn’t won a golf tournament since coming from self-imposed exile following that accident in Windemere, Fla last year. Rampant rumors that his estranged wife Elin will get $750 million in a divorce settlement are false. According to Forbes, Tiger isn’t even worth that much.  GirlsofPhilly.com/INFphotos.com
