Bow Wow’s Mom Responds to Seizure of Her Clothing Store

Bow Wow’s mom responded to reports that her upscale clothing boutique was seized by the state.

Teresa Caldwell, took to her Twitter page this morning to caution followers who may find themselves in the same boat as she is.

As you know, Caldwell’s Taste clothing boutique inside Atlantic Station was seized and locked by the Georgia state dept. of revenue for nonpayment of state taxes.

A state employee who asked to remain anonymous tells Sandrarose.com that visits are made to a business, and the owner is warned, prior to the state placing a lien on the property.

Sad but hopefully they’ll get it straightened out. I said yesterday alot of people in their position hire people to handle their financial affairs and dont think they need to follow up until its too late

That has to be one of the most frustrating situations in the world…to have something, to own something, and not be able to utilize it until taxes are paid…the economy is draining people….this shyt is not cool….its fukked up that at a time like this not only do the IRS want to crack down on people when they know people are in fukked up situations financially and on top of that sieze their income…i mean of course Bow Wow’s mother is in a better position, but what about the mom and pop stores going thru this shyt trying to get by…just for the IRS to barge in and take everything from them for taxes…..smh

I remember when my grandmother had a stroke and went into a nursing home…how everybody pitched in to pay her takes (which ain nothing but $600) or maybe a little more on her house while she was sick…..but the fact that we had to chip and make sure the IRS didn’t take my grandmother’s PAID OFF HOUSE for no fukking $600 dollars while she was sick….I mean..LIKE HELL THEY WOULD HAVE *in my ghetto stupid voice* but if they had the opportunity to do so…who would have been able to stop them, WTF!!! All those years of paying mortgage!!! Pay the house off, and they can still take YO SHYT…over WAY LESS MONEY!!!!

please. the only way a legit accountant stops paying ur bills for you is if you stop PAYING HIM. there would be no other logical explanation, so saving face or hone up to the humiliation.

like i said on another post; the tax people dont just decide one morning to come for your stuff. in their defense, you get all sorts of warnings, letters, calls, and hell even visits that I wasn’t aware of. this happens over a course of time and not in one weekend.

but again, her story, i suppose she’ll stick to this.
