Girl yes folks still have tongue rings. I got one when I was about 24 and when I got pregnant with my daughter shortly after I took it out because I mean lets face it…who wants to see a preg lady with a tongue ring I dont!

@ Cha Cha girl I used to have one back in college…then my older sister gave me a big speech about entering the corporate environment and how “un-professional” it would look, made me feel guilty and ish. I would definately rock a nose ring except I’m clumsy and would end up ripping it out or some mess while I sleep lol.

@cheecks it is a plain metal one, but every time I see it I laugh. I got mine done in 98 came home and all the ppl in my family said I was advertising for oral sex lol….came back in 01 everybody & their grandma had one lol. My family never said anyting, because I am always the trendsetter but I thought it looked a mess while pregnant still trying to hang on to the little cuteness I had left. I also had the marilyn monroe piercing, I kept that about 4 months till I noticed it was the trend amongst all the hoodrats in my area ( no offense to anyone) so that had to come out too. Nowadays some folks dont even care CORPORATE or not. I am seeing the clear ball more and more. I would think that is wayyy to much work to take it in and out and to disguise it. Its not professional AT ALL to say the least.
