Rumor Control: No plans for Usher and chris brown to tour together
Yesterday R&B crooner Usher’s camp rushed to put an end to rumor that could potentially derail his successful comeback.
The rumor: that Usher and chris brown was planning to tour together.
After fielding a flurry of phone calls from media outlets and blogs (including Sandrarose.com), Usher’s reps crushed the rumor.
“There are no plans at this time for Usher and Chris Brown to tour together,” the singer’s reps said in a statement. brown’s reps also chimed in with the statement: “There is no confirmed Chris Brown and Usher tour at this time.”
The announcements came as good news to outraged Rihanna fans who were preparing to picket any arena where the convicted woman beater was scheduled to appear.
The false rumor was sparked by music producer Bryan-Michael Cox — a Jermaine Dupri crony — who later tweeted that he didn’t know if the information was true. (“It would be dope, tho[ugh],” Cox added.)
By the way, I heard from a very credible source in NY that Rihanna is a big fan of Sandrarose.com (hi RiRi!)
I hear that she appreciated all the love and support we gave her during the chris brown crisis.
Obama Sponsors Trip to Middle East for NY Mosque Imam
Earlier this week I posted an email from a concerned reader who asked to remain anonymous. She asked if we could confirm a controversial statement that was being attributed to U.S. president Barack Obama as part of his speech during the Ramadan dinner at the White House.
Of particular concern to my loyal reader was the passage that read — and I quote:
I have instructed my state department to give the Imam of this 911 Mosque, free travel in a U.S. Gov’t. Jet, paid for by the American Taxpayers, all over the Middle East.
It turns out that the email was a hoax; as those words were not uttered by Obama during the Ramadan dinner. But the above quoted passage is true; Obama has instructed the U.S. State Department to fly the Imam of the proposed NY Mosque to the Middle East – on your dime!
According to the Washington Post, the state department — which answers to Obama — is sponsoring a tour of the Middle East for Imam Feisal Abdul Rauf, the man behind the Park51 Muslim community center and mosque proposed on a site near New York’s Ground Zero.

The track speaks to single ladies everywhere who tolerate bad behavior from their men when they don’t have to, because, well, you hold the power.

“Breaking Point” was written by Keri Hilson and produced by superproducer Timbaland. “No Boys Allowed” is slated for a Late 2010 release and a video for the song will be shot in Atlanta early September. The song is about that breaking point that every woman gets to when the excuses given by boys are no longer accepted.
Keri comments “ If you’re not man enough to step to the plate, then keep it moving.”
Polow Da Don, Co-Executive Producer of the album and Zone 4 President, adds: “Keri’s intense focus on No Boys Allowed has been inspiring to me in and out of the studio. This will definitely be one of the best albums of 2010/2011.”

New Music: Kanye West ft. Drake – Ghetto University (snippet)
Sad news: Kanye West’s stellar music career is officially over. Kanye leaked this snippet of a track featuring Drake titled Ghetto University and it sucks worse than a broken vacuum cleaner. What happened to Kanye? At one time I used to fiend for this man’s music. Nowadays when I hear his tracks I just change the station or turn the volume down. Sad.

Loyal reader Tamara M. sent in this pic of R&B Diva and her boo, Shannon Brown of the LA Lakers strolling arm in arm together. A little birdie told me that Shannon recently met Mo’s parents Marilyn Best and Rev. Ed Best, and they both loved him!
I also hear that Shannon supports Mo in all her personal and artistic endeavors. The 6-4 guard recently made the decision to return to the Lakers to win a third ring rather than choose a team closer to his lady’s heart. Mo’s boys, Melo and Lil Rocko love the chris brown look-a-like. Expect a big announcement real soon!

Music mogul Sean “Puffy” Combs was spotted leaving the French Connection afterparty at Trousale Nightclub in Los Angeles last night. I had no idea Sean had such bad posture. Puff climbed into a waiting car with two young blondes — neither of whom were his live-in lover Cassie Ventura. Maybe he got into the wrong car by mistake?
Pharrell Williams was seen leaving Pastis in the meatpacking district of NYC after eating lunch with a friend yesterday. He was wearing loud yellow popsicle shorts from his Billionaire Boys/Ice Cream clothing line which is all the rage with fashion forward Metrosexuals.
