Slow News Day: Kanye Says Nicki Minaj Will Be No. 2 Rapper of All Time

Normally I wouldn’t waste my time making a post about anything Kanye West says, but his statement is so bizarre that it begs the question: is Kanye West losing it?
During an interview with a NY radio station, Kanye said he considers pseudo-rapper Nicki Minaj to be the “scariest artist in the game right.” He went even further to say that Nicki will own her own network one day, and she “has the potential to be the number 2 greatest rapper of all time… because nobody is going to be bigger than Eminem.”

There are two things wrong with this statement: Eminem is not the greatest rapper of all time, and Nicki Minaj will never seriously be considered for the Top 10 list of greatest female rappers of all time. Both Kanye West and Nicki Minaj embody what is wrong with today’s Hip Hop.
They both have mental issues that need to be addressed before they further erodes the public’s perception of the music industry.
UPDATE: Bones Found in Malibu Canyon Identified as Mitrice Richardson

Update I, 12:02 pm:
The skeletal remains found in Malibu Canyon on Monday afternoon have been identified by authorities as those of Mitrice Richardson, the young woman who vanished nearly a year ago after being released from the Lost Hills/Malibu Sheriff’s Station, according to a source familiar with the investigation. According to CNN, the Los Angeles County Coroner’s office hopes to release results Thursday morning of their examination of skeletal remains found in a remote area of Malibu Canyon.
The family of Mitrice Richardson, who has been missing for almost a year, visited the site where the bones were found on Monday. The remains, which included a human skull, were found by park rangers searching the area for illegal marijuana groves.
“It’s incredibly treacherous terrain,” said Sheriff’s spokesman Steve Whitmore of the remote site. “There is no road, no trail even if you know exactly where you are going.”
The LA Times reported that the remains were those of a female who had been exposed to the elements “for quite a while.” Female clothing, including a pair of Levis blue jeans, were found near the body. When last seen alive, Mitrice was wearing a brown Bob Marley t-shirt and blue jeans.
Mitirce’s mother, Litrice Richardson, held a news conference on Tuesday outside the coroner’s office to appeal to LA County officials to let her view the clothing.
Despite police evidence that Mitrice was last seen wearing blue jeans, Litrice Richardson said, “I do know that my daughter was wearing jeans that night.”
Gay Pride: Didn’t I tell you Ciara was an undercover lesbun?

According to Miss Toya, R&B pseudo-singer Ciara has signed on to be one of the headliners performing live during Black Gay Pride Weekend in Atlanta next month.
Even though rail straight heterosexuals such as Monica has previously performed during Atlanta Pride weekend, Ciara is well known for being an undercover lesbun.
Rapper Nicki Minaj, who Kanye West ridiculously claims will be the 2nd greatest rapper of all time, is also slated to perform during the Atlanta Pride weekend, which takes place at Traxx Atlanta from September 2nd to September 7th.
More down low artists — including Trey Songz and Mario — are expected to be added to the lineup within the next two weeks.
Montana Fishburne Charged With Assault with a Deadly Weapon

Montana Fishburne’s story has just gone from bad to worse. According to TMZ, the budding porn star has a criminal rap sheet that includes assault with a deadly weapon! What a prize catch she is.
Montana was arrested last February after allegedly barging into the alleged victim’s home (the complaint does not give her name), forcing her into the bathroom and beating the crap out of her. We’re told the victim had “significant injuries.”
The L.A. City Attorney’s Office has charged Fishburne with battery, and will be adding charges of false imprisonment and assault with a deadly weapon.
Montana, who’s being repped by the effervescent Shawn Chapman Holley, has pled not guilty and the case is pending.
Fishburne’s boyfriend, Jerome Greene, was also charged in the attack against his ex-girlfriend but already pled no contest to domestic battery.
Fishburne has a sex DVD coming out on Vivid Entertainment later this month. The owner of Vivid should have taken the million-dollar offer, because I doubt this DVD will do well.
New Music: Kanye – See Me Now ft. Beyonce, Charlie Wilson (tagged)

It’s rare for talented music producer/rapper kanye West to dump such garbage on our ears. His tracks are usually on point. But even with the help of musical mainstays such as Beyonce and Charlie Wilson, he managed to disappoint with his new track titled “See Me Now.”

Maybe it’s because he no longer has his muse, Amber Rose, to give him inspiration? Or maybe it’s because it’s a tagged radio rip. Who knows. But one thing is for sure: this track is boring and uninspiring. I wouldn’t mind if I never heard this garbage again.
Slimm: ‘I spoke too soon’

Local club promoter Slimm wants to apologize for hastily rushing out a press release at the first sign of discord in his May/December relationship with actress Vivica A. Fox.
Don’t be so hard on him; he’s just a kid. We’ve all been there.
Slimm writes:
I want to clear the air about the rushed statement released yesterday about Vivica and I breaking up.
Sometimes a person may act out of anger and I apologize for my “flaw” of overreacting instead of letting time take its course.
We have all been involved in a serious relationship resulting with making fast and unplanned decisions.
So, of course, no one is perfect.
Beyond a doubt I understand how to treat people you love. Vivica is an important part of my life and I would never try to hurt her. Thanks for supporting us as we figure things out.
