According to publicist Eileen Arias of EA Public Relations, Usher’s ex-wife Tameka Foster has opened a second store, Estella HOME, in the Atlanta area.

Estella HOME specializes in custom home decor, candles, body care, jewelry, accent furniture pieces, books and more “home” appropriate items anybody with a flair for fashion and style will LOVE!
Also accompanied by Mary J. Blige was Marjorie Harvey, wife of Steve Harvey.
While at the store Mary J. Blige browsed the jewelry collection, Tracy Mourning’s Honey Child body collection and various throws and decorative pillows.

fanMAIL: Why is the mainstream media ignoring homewrecker Alicia Keys?

*Sandra, I’m writing you because I need you to help me understand something and maybe I just overlooked it but I figured you could help some of us out. Now, before Fantasia’s overdose I had seen reports of her on CNN about her affair. Can you please tell me why CNN never mentioned Alicia Key’s affair? I mean, isn’t Alicia the bigger name? The more news worthy? Why is Nancy Grace covering Fantasia and hasnt said anything about that slore Alicia?
I’ve received numerous emails like this one ever since American Idol winner Fantasia swallowed an unknown quantity of Aspirin in a desperate bid to gain sympathy in the wake of adultery reports.
The national news media (read: white media) jumped all over the story when the news broke that Fantasia was being sued by a woman who accused her of interfering in her marriage.
Pictures of Fantasia holding hands with the married man, Antwaun Cook, were staples on all the urban blogs for months.
CNN’s Nancy Grace even set aside her daily blanket Hailey Cummings coverage on Monday to fit in a little Fantasia bashing (assisted by AOL Black Voices columnist Jawn Murray).
Two hours later, Fantasia attempted suicide in her N. Carolina mansion and was rushed to a local hospital to have her stomach pumped.
All of this leaves Fantasia fans to ponder why the mainstream media totally ignored singer Alicia Keys who committed the same crime as Fantasia when she crept with the then married music producer Swizz Beatz.
What is it that attracted the media sharks to Fantasia’s story like blood in the water, but caused them to ignore Alicia Keys, the more attractive, LSLH singer?
The answer has to be: American Idol.

This is Fantasia’s Charlotte, NC mansion where she will return following a two-day hospital stay for swallowing an undetermined number of Aspirins and sleeping pills. Fantasia’s manager, Brian Dickens, called 911 from Fantasia’s residence after she attempted suicide on Monday night. He told the dispatcher that family members placed Fantasia in the shower and ran cold water on her to keep her awake. He also said she was bleeding, but he didn’t say where. Aspirin contains blood thinner in minute amounts. But if a person takes a large dose of Aspirin, it could cause the blood to stop clotting and prolong bleeding from any opening in the skin or mucus membrane, such as the eyes nose mouth, etc.

It seems that actress Vivica A. Foxx can’t keep a man to save her life. Earlier, club promoter Slimm of Plush Blue Entertainment, sent out this press release:
Hey this is Slimm, unfortunately me and Vivica are no longer dating. After 8 months it’s time to go our separate ways. In life you can love and have chemistry with a person but Flaws can sometimes outweigh the relationship. I wish her the best and I know she feels the same. Thanks.
Welp, I’m sure they had fun while it lasted. Vivica got her back aligned nightly, and Slimm became a household name (at least in the ATL).

Rapper T.I. was spotted wearing Gucci flip flops and socks with long cargo pants at Reagan National Airport in Washington DC, after screening his new movie “Takers”. Why do men wear flip flops with socks and cargo pants? Is that supposed to be sexy? Don’t you have to keep pulling the pants leg up to keep it from dragging on the ground? I understand most men don’t have the most attractive feet, but flip flops and socks with cargo pants in 80-degree weather is not the biz.

I thought you guys said Fantasia’s gigolo, Antwaun Cook, worked at T-Mobile where they met?
According to loyal reader Aisha R., Cook is a real estate agent who works for Keller Williams Realty.
According to Cook’s bio on his website, he’s been selling homes since 2003:
I am a proud father of two sons, Christian and Jackson. I graduated from East Carolina University in 2001, with a Bachelor’s degree in Business. I grew an interest in real estate originally from the investing side, and have continued in real estate from many different angles for the last 7 years.
So did Cook really meet Fantasia in a T-Mobile store, or is it more likely that they met while he was showing her real estate properties?
According to Aisha, when Fantasia’s rep claimed Cook took Fantasia to a home where he lived apart from his wife, he may have actually taken her to an uninhabited model home that was for sale and fully furnished.
Aisha writes:
Take a closer look at your man Mr. Cook. In the statement that was made by Fantaisa’s rep, he took her to his home. It wasn’t his home…it may have been a Keller-Williams home fully furnished. If that was the case, he needs to be put up on charges of trespassing and fraud.

You should know that in college he was a pretty-boy Kappa who would not even LOOK at brown skin or dark-skinned women back in our college days. He dated my cousin who was light-skinned and would often tell her, “We’re looking for those red-bones.” He would often say that he only dates light-skinned women and would praise my cousin for her complexion. That is why it’s ironic that he’s dating Fantasia.
