fanMAIL: Maia Campbell Was Once Just Like You
Maia Campbell, the once beautiful star of LL Cool J’s “In the House” is now incarcerated in the big house.
The 33-year-old daughter of author BeBe Moore Campbell, starred in numerous TV sitcoms and bit roles in movies such as Poetic Justice alongside Janet Jackson and Tupac. Like most washed up young stars with no job skills, Maia briefly dabbled in porn and then street drugs.
Maia was arrested on July 5th in Santa Monica, CA after being videotaped in a drug-induced haze. She remains incarcerated on $40,000 bond at the same facility where actress Lindsay Lohan was jailed. This is her 2nd arrest. It is believed that Maia suffers from bipolar disorder or schizophrenia.

Trey Songz Makes History (and not in a good way)
My nephew, Sam, from across the pond writes this piece about Trey Songz’s failed reality TV show on BET. I have nothing to add personally to Sam’s assessment, because I just don’t care about this dude.
After a somewhat promising start back in June, the show’s ratings have dropped to dismal depths – with this week’s episode bringing in an embarrassing 0.461 million viewers (this despite it being aired nationally).
Worse still, the disastrous figures landed the show in last place among all Cable shows on the day of its airing (August 4th).
This will no doubt come as a blow to BET, Songz, and his team – who sources say had been lobbying for another season of ‘My Moment’.
With ‘My Moment’, however, it is unavoidably clear from the get-go that the objective is to present Songz as superstar. Yet with only one Gold album to boot (out of three) and a fanbase who appear to be more concerned with what’s in his trousers than his talent (an image Songz cultivated for himself), it’s not surprising to see such plans falling through. Matters aren’t helped by the fact Songz has as much personality as a loaf of bread, either.
Medical Minute: Borderline Personality Disorder
The big news in the blog stratosphere over the weekend was the continuing trials and tribulations of “American Idol” winner Fantasia Barrino, who is being sued by a woman for breaking up her marriage.
You all know the story that the mainstream media has just caught a whiff of due of the aforementioned lawsuit.
Here’s CNN‘s take on the story:
Paula Cook, who separated from her husband, Antwaun Cook, in June, filed the documents — seeking child custody, alimony and other monetary support — Wednesday in Mecklenburg County District Court.
The documents allege Antwaun Cook began the affair with Barrino, 26, in August 2009 after the pair met at a Charlotte-area T-Mobile store where Cook is employed.
Barrino… treated Cook to a lavish lifestyle, flying him to Atlanta, Georgia; Miami, Florida; New York; Los Angeles, California; and Barbados, the documents allege.
The pair “have at times recorded their illicit sexual activity,” according to the documents.
I know you are growing wary of me throwing around the N-word. But you should know that 90% of the celebrities that you worship are narcissists — and the reason our society (YOU) place celebrity narcissists on a pedestal is because we are a nation of narcissist enablers.
Narcissists belong in the category of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD), or Narcissistic Personality Disorder (NPD). This means that while most of them are beautiful and charming, they are deep down rotten to the core and there is no treatment for what ails them. So how do you deal with one?
You don’t.
You avoid them like the plague — but first you have to learn to recognize them, which is why I’m here to teach you what to look for.
How do you know when you’re dealing with a NPD/BPD? — they move quickly to ‘own’ you.
Shortly after meeting one, they decide your lives should merge and you should move in together. If the NPD is a man, he will propose to you within 30 days after meeting you. If the NPD is a woman, she will pressure you to marry her after a week. This is not normal behavior — and no matter what you think you feel: you are not in love.
No matter what you think you feel, you will never be happy in a relationship with a NPD. You will always be ‘on edge’ or waiting for the other shoe to drop. If you somehow manage to find a little happiness, your narcissist will make it their priority to make you miserable.
Wyclef Jean lashes out at Sean Penn: “I have sweat in my blood”
Musician Wyclef Jean lashed out at actor Sean Penn for questioning his motivation behind running for president of Haiti.
Penn, who spent the last 6 months helping out in a Port-au-Prince refugee camp filled with earthquake survivors, told CNN that he hasn’t seen Jean in 6 months.
In an interview with Oprah’s bff Gayle King today, Wyclef Jean defended his absence in Haiti, saying “I have sweat in my blood.”

Wyclef opens his mouth and removes all doubt that he’s ignorant. I guess you don’t have to be in Haiti or help out in refugee tents — or even speak the native language to run for president of Haiti?
Maybe Sean Penn should run for president since he’s clearly doing more for the Haitian people than Wyclef who is all mouth and little action.
New Couple Alert: Is Christina Milian Boo’d Up With The Dream’s Best Friend?

Singer Christina Milian is in Atlanta shooting a movie for a month.
As you know, Christina was dumped by her estranged husband, The Dream, while she was in labor. But Christina hid her shame well, even publicly supporting her baby daddy’s album for months after he filed for divorce.
But the ish hit the fan when paparazzi photos hit the blogs showing The Dream frolicking with his assistant on vacation while Christina was at home with their baby.
Well, now comes word that Christina may have a new man who’s making her forget all about Terius. Last night, Christina and her mom popped into Elsa Belai’s Secret Society party at Aurum in Atlanta.
With her was the man that she’s allegedly boo’d up with now: Universal Music exec Shawn Costner.
Now I’m not saying that the two are a couple, so please don’t quote me. But that’s the word Im hearing. Christina is known to only date influential industry men who can further her singing career. Costner is The Dream’s best friend and this might be CM’s way of getting back at him.
