@Al good point but I don’t think I like it, it takes the focus off the marriage and puts it all on partyong imo. I heard on a site I can’t mention that they took their honeymoon before the wedding. I didn’t have a huge wedding but I know I was exhausted after mine all I did was sleep the rest of the night (we didn’t even do what married folks do I was too busy snoring lol) and most of the brides I know have all said the same so I can’t imagine but you’re right the whole dynamics have changed immensly.

@Carrington,you might be right but those pics were the same released on every other site I saw this weekend. Often the photographer snaps a ton of shots all aren’t poses and the other pics aren’t bad so maybe she or someone on her staff liked them they may not be top quality but the wedding was held at a private residence and the one with his son they are looking in the camera and the one with the dress is a pretty common wedding shot, I’ve seen them taken that way before so you can get the full effect of the dress/train and all that. I’m not positive though so you could be right

Carrington I said that to say they don’t appear to be paparrazi shots in my eyes because of the reasons I gave. Unless the pap was on the grounds of the wedding and allowed to be there. I actually applaud them for releasing their own pictures and not selling them to the highest bidder

@Al very true. I cant say we waited cause our son was the best man at our wedding but I refused to live with him unmarried. I moved in 2 weeks before the ceremony because my lease was up and he was pissed because we did not sleep together before lol. I tried to make it so we had something to anticipate

@Free the venue is not what strikes me as odd its the fact that they had an after party to the reception. I’ve never heard of that and can’t imagine wanting to hit the club after I just got married. On the other sites, she’s shown in 2 seperate dresses in the club, everybody is striking club poses, he’s got a mic in his hand appearing to be performing, she has a picture in a see through glitter dress that’s the size of a nightie, tits sagging with no bra or support in the dress. Its just a bit much for my taste to have a wedding, reception and then everyone including the bride and groom heads to the club to party the night away I also read that they are supposed to have the Miami wedding, a party/reception thing in Atlanta and then another one in Vegas. Jmo but when I got married I was exhausted for one so there’s no way I would’ve been in the club and then for two I just wanted to be with my husband. Even though we had a child already he was still my new husband, after the ceremony I didn’t want to be bothered with anyone but my man and he would’ve flipped the eff out had I been in a club dressed that way at anytime while married but especially our wedding night. Its their celebration but it seems to be too much imo and takes the focus off the purpose of the wedding which isn’t to party all night and hit the town with all your friends over and over and over again.

@Gypsy lol you do have a point… I’ve never seen it before though so it immediately stuck out to me. I will say that I hate clubs so I could be a billionaire and you wouldn’t catch me there

I wasn’t trying to make it seem like I’m against them doing what they want to do, everyone has the right as they should to do them and only them on their wedding day

I know what Sandra posted but other sites say different for one. For two, the two dresses she’s photographed in at the club are NOT her wedding dress. There’s way more pictures than the ones she posted here and finally who called it a “black thing”? Wasn’t me at all so what was the purpose of that last statement? :eyeroll:

And no ghetto does not automatically apply to blacks. The word ghetto itself has nothing to do with black people and most importantly I wouldn’t care if she was Swedish, that dress would still be ghetto and tacky in once again MY opinion.

@Daisy, I think Alicia was the best dressed out of all the brides but I liked Chelsea’s dress. The belt part made it stand out to me
