AXE Considering Axing T.I.’s Sponsorship Deal
According to TMZ.com, the corporate arm of AXE body spray products is considering dropping rapper T.I. as a spokesman.
Although T.I.’s image still graces the company’s website, TMZ reports that AXE is not happy with the news of T.I.’s arrest for possession of the controlled substance ecstasy.
A rep for AXE tells TMZ they’re “troubled by [T.I.'s] arrest” and have been forced into “reviewing our promotional activities” with the rapper. Translation — it doesn’t look good for T.I.
T.I. — real name Clifford Harris — locked down a deal with AXE earlier this year after promising the company that he was “working to become a more positive role model.”
T.I. will be alright. Everyone makes mistakes. The road to redemption is littered with the souls of those who never made it. It is a tough road to walk. At least he wasn’t arrested for domestic abuse.

Peyton Manning is my “son.” Been a fan since his days at Tennesee and he STILL my favorite football player (along with Ben Rothlissburger, go figure).
He was “accused” of a gang sexual assualt of a female “team manager” back in college. She sued the school and won, Peyton actually paid the civil suit on behalf of the school. Peytom made the girl lick his azz. You can look it up.
