Celebs Out & About: Monica, Jay Z, Usher, Trey Songz, Nia Long
R&B Diva Monica and rapper Jay-Z posed for a picture backstage at The Beacon Theatre in NYC last night. Monica was performing there with Trey Songz, who is set to go on tour with Usher when this current tour ends. When Jigga arrived, Monica tweeted, “Jay Z is in the building tonight. My favorite rapper of ALL time. So beautiful to see he is still so humble. He watched & saluted me like a G.” She also mentioned that he made one of her dancers tuck his shirt in. This, from a man who wears his jeans sagging around his knees like a 5-year-old.
Monica, who is the co-headliner along with Trey, puts her all into every performance so her fans leave the venue feeling like they got their money’s worth.
When you have limited talent, you just stand there and grab your gonads like Trey songz. Thank God real singers like James Brown, Otis Redding and Harry Belafonte relied on their talent and never had to resort to disrespectful gestures to get an audience hyped.

Professional beard Amber Rose is still across the pond attending London Fashion Week events. If Amber had bothered to look around she would have noticed that no one is checking for her. That’s because, in Europe, we don’t celebrate nobodies.

You know that’s not true. Please explain why Katie Price is one of the most well known and popular celebrity in England? Jade Goody (R.I.P) and every British glamour model and the whole WAG culture. Those are a bunch of nobodies and are celebrated in the UK like crazy.

@Sandra, glad you mentioned James Brown. He was a tremendous performer and he stood up for civil rights during a time when some people where being killed for doing so. They don’t make them like that anymore.

Isnt it Kori White. The woman that he has been around with for years. She has supposedly been with him even before he married Beyonce. Beyonce supposedly knows about her. She is not happy about it but she has no choice but to accept it. As soon as this story with Kori came out, Kori removed her facebook, twitter and everything else. And no one heard from her since. Her ex best friend and her was fighting on one and it was revealed.

I went to the Atlanta so and Monica did do the dang thang! Dondria was like a bad appetizer, and Trey was just ugh. He didn’t do any songs I know, Just a lot off this new album. Then he took his shirt off and walked off stage, Man was I pissed. I should have took notes from Monica’s family (whom were seated behind me) and left when Monica was done with her set.
And I will not pay to see Usher lip sing and dance all slow, like he did at the VMA’s I can assure you this Usher/Trey concert is going to be BORING!

The difference between MJ grabbing his crotch and Trey is that Trey is just standing there trying to get a reaction while MJ danced along and gave you a little to go along with it.
Monica is too pretty for the amount of makeup she wears. And while some mothers can drop baby weight like it’s nothing others aren’t so blessed and don’t deserve to be criticized for it

You were definately in my head with that comment. I absolutely LOVE Trey and that ATL show at the Fox Theater, I was PISSED. I wanted more Monica cause she tore it up and down. His performance SUCKED and I guess it was because he was headlinning. I’ve seen him before a few years ago and that’s when I fell in love but now he thinks he’s too big. Monica need to so her own show ASAP!
