New Music: Kelly Price and Mars
Most of my old heads will remember Kelly Price, the Diva who started out as a R&B singer before taking a detoru into Gospel. Well now she’s back with a new single that’s been around for a minute titled “Tired”. As the title suggests, she’s tired of being dogged out by a man. I can’t even begin to relate to that so I’ll let SoulBounce.com review the single for you:

This song is like whoa. Kelly is belting her heart out, telling her trifling man just how tired of him and all his drama she is. I’m sure that we can all relate, but although the tune may be directed at one man, with all the hell Black women have been catching in the media lately and how sick and tired most of us are of the rhetoric, this could be our new national anthem. Kudos to Kelly for this strong comeback. And you know what else, this would make a fantastic house song. Someone make that remix happen, but until then let Ms. Price take you to church.
Although rapper Mars is a newcomer on the scene, he’s been T.I.’s producing partner for a few years now. In between crafting hits for other singers and rappers, Mars rocks out with his own group, and as you can tell, he prefers giving his own music that 80s feel.

The youngings wouldn’t understand that urban rock disco beat. I grew up to that kind of music. Love his style. Kelly looks great. I love her inspiration.
Mars it’s *fresh*…so we are re-doing the 80′s & 90′s…I’m cool with it. Saw a commerical with two young guys wearing “Kid n Play High Top Fades”….Wow!!!
It’s cute for the youngsters to see how we influenced their culture today.

Heard this Kelly Price song on the internet about two weeks ago. It’s cool. I adore soulful music. Her “Priceless” album was the best one she’s made thus far. I’m looking forward to new music.

I have Kelly’s first 2 CD’S and I still bump them from time to time. She used to be a lot thinner than she is now when she first lost the weight. I think she has found a zone as far as keeping her weight off goes.

Kelly has such a beautiful voice! That song was sad but real. From what I heard though it can’t be based on her life because they say her husband adores her unless a) he changed or b) she is sanging a song she thinks many women can relate to.

I have had “Anything You Need” from that album on heavy rotation lately. Faith’s and Kelly’s harmonies are just sick! I think it’s time for a Heartbreak Hotel Part II since Faith’s new Cd is about to drop.

Girl….My First Love, No Way, and Caramel Kisses, BANGERS!!!! Faith Evans will ad lib and entire song and destroy that mug. You really can hear Kelly loud and clear. Keep The Faith was BY FAR, Faith’s best album. Those to 2 together really do kill it.
