Will LOUD Finally Put Rihanna in a League All By Herself?

The back cover of Rihanna’s hotly anticipated LOUD album has leaked online. The album’s celebrity features includes collaborations with Drake, Nicki Minaj and Lady Gaga. With so much talent on loan from God, how can LOUD not rocket Rihanna into the stratosphere and put her in a league all by herself?
From what I hear, the album contains some of the best material Rihanna has recorded to date.
I heard 6 of the tracks over the phone recently after I promised not to record the phone call. The tracks included “Raining Men” ft. Nicki Minaj’s annoying raps.
Vocally, Rihanna has grown to the point where Madonna was when her Like a Virgin made her a global megastar in ’84.
I was in nursing school when that iconic album came out. I vividly recall ‘Virgin’ disrupting classes at my nursing school in Florida because most of my fellow classmates were out buying the album.
Will LOUD do that for Rihanna?

T.I. – “God did all the work, I just showed up”
Rapper T.I. called into local radio station Hot 107.9 this afternoon to discuss his heroic efforts in talking a troubled young man down off the ledge of a midtown office building today.
The incident occurred around 4pm today when police received 911 calls reporting a man sitting on the roof of the 22-story Colony Square building where, ironically, Hot’s rival station V-103 is located.
T.I., who gave the man a brief pep talk after he was talked down off the ledge by police, bristled at rumors and gossip that the entire crisis was a stunt to impress the courts (T.I. has a probation revocation hearing on Friday):
“I can’t plan this! How can I plan this? I don’t see how it could be thought, believed or assumed that I am in any way trying to manipulate this situation,” said T.I.
“You say ‘well, OK, he has this situation, yada yada, yada.’ Ok, fine. Who you got without a situation [that showed up] to do something?,” he said.

Behind The Scenes: T.I. On the Set of His New Music Video *Updated*
Scroll down for update…
Rapper T.I. is busy filming several music videos featuring a slew of artists over the next 2 days in Atlanta. I was told exclusively that celebrities scheduled to appear in Tip’s videos include The Dream, Monica’s ex Rocko Da Don, and chris brown, among others.
The pic could have been better, but it’s a SandraRose.com Exclusive from a closed set. So beggars can’t be choosers.
T.I.’s wife Tiny Harris tweeted this message to her fans from the set last night:
Update:
The AJC wrote a nice piece about T.I.’s noble effort to save a troubled young man’s life. Here’s an excerpt:
Rapper T.I. stepped in to help police negotiators trying to talk a man out of jumping to his death from a 22-story Midtown building Wednesday afternoon.
“He came to the scene and offered to talk to him, we told the young man that, and he came down,” Officer James Polite with Atlanta police told the AJC.
When the man threatening to jump came down, T.I. was waiting and the two talked for a few minutes, Polite said.
The man, whose name was not released, was then transported to Grady Memorial Hospital for treatment, Polite said.
Update II, 6:45 pm ET:
TMZ also wrote about radio host Ryan Cameron’s involvement in the life and death drama that took place on the roof of the building where V-103′s offices are located.
It all went down earlier this afternoon — when cops responded to a 911 call about a man who was threatening to jump off a building in downtown Atlanta … the same building where Ryan Cameron’s Radio Show on V103 is based.
We’re told T.I. heard about the jumper on the radio — and called Ryan Cameron to see if there was anything he could do to help out with the situation.
Ryan Cameron tells us … he told T.I. to roll over to the building, where the rapper met with police and recorded a heartfelt video message which cops then played for the man on the roof.
We’re told after the man saw T.I.’s video he agreed to step off the ledge … and met T.I. in the lobby, where the two were able to talk things out.

Jay Z Begs Youth to “Vote Again” in November
It’s crunch time for U.S. President Barack Obama and the Democrats, who expect take a beating at the polls in 3 weeks. So they turned to aging rapper Jay Z to film a 30-second video begging his fans to “vote again” on November 2nd.
“Our generation changed the world, it never happened before,” said the 40-year-old rapper at the Bonnaroo festival in June. So it just goes to show anything is possible, fight for what’s right.”
But the “Change” that Americans had “hoped” for never materialized as Obama focused on his own agenda, which included passing the health care bill.
Carrington, one of my loyal readers, left a thought-provoking comment in this post last night.
Since it’s all beautiful and everybody’s holding hands and hymn sangin for Obama – how do you go to the NEXT president and re-start your, “What about us?” campaign?,” he wrote.
If you don’t DEMAND equality and special provisions from the man who SHOULD be willing to give it up, how you gonna go to a white man and demand it?
