Premiere: Willow Smith – I Whip My Hair

Willow Smith’s much-anticipated music video for “Whip My Hair” will premiere on BET’s 106 & Park later on today. It was directed by Ray King.

I have no further comment on this because I’ve already explained how I feel about grown folks exploiting children for entertainment and profit.

This was such an age-appropriate video for kids and was pleasantly surprised when I watched it. I was a little skeptical at first, but I remember Jada/Will talking about their kids and their love of entertainment. All of our kids need to follow their passion to the fullest, regardless.

I just don’t understand why people take what a person type on a blog to heart. You don’t see them and you don’t know them. If you are uncomfortable with their statements you don’t have to address them or acknowledge them. Worst case scenario just logged the he.ll off and do your job tasks. Its really not that serious. Sandra never asked our thoughts about banning someone, she just does it. It is her blog. If Man is not banned as of yet then 9 times out of 10 he will NOT be banned.

A good business move for SR would be to change her stance of this being a family-oriented blog and turn it into a grown folks oriented blog. She can probably clearly see that the MASS majority of her readers\commentators(had to separate them as commentators, good and bad, clearly get more respect from me) are believing and using her blog for grown folk talk. in my opinion(which I’m entitled to) a select few bytch, sytch, and moan based on there belief that SR is running a family blog. Auntie says its for family blog yet continuously posts about DLmen, Narcissest, Morning Wood, Bad politics.

If Auntie wants to maintain the Family oriented environment she should be posting more all age friendly post such as monica’s engagement and this willow post..and less of the post mentioned above..Less judgmental posts on fashion from lesser celebs (ala her clowning of Ciara’s handmedowns) and more inspiring posts (not one post about the rescue of the 33 miners in chile) Auntie should either set her foot down and make this a faimly blog with 100% family posts or change her stance to evolve with the environment(and fanbase) here that this has become a grown folk blog. and then there would be no ground to stand on for those who are too sensitive to hold grown folk conversations.
