PETA Outraged at chris brown’s Mink Backpack
According to a loyal reader who asked to remain anonymous, the PETA folks are outraged after seeing pictures of troubled singer chris brown modeling his custom mink backpack at US Weekly‘s ‘Stars Who Care’ event in LA last night.
“Imagine how many minks they slaughtered so he could look stylish!,” wrote my reader, who is a member of PETA. She said she also emailed these pictures of a smiling brown to other PETA members.
According to Answers.com, the American mink is an endangered species.
But the chris brown news isn’t all bad. Yesterday, brown was commended and praised by the judge overseeing his domestic abuse case. Judge Patricia Schnegg heaped praise on brown during a brief probation hearing Thursday in a Los Angeles courtroom.
“Out of thousands of probationers, no one has done a better or more consistent job than you have, and I really want to commend you for taking responsibility and for actually working diligently to complete all the things the court has required of you,” Schnegg told brown who stood smirking at her.
She added: “I know that you will finish your domestic violence counseling program in just seven more sessions, which is excellent.”
brown has completed almost 73 days of his 180 days of community labor, which he’s serving in his home state of Virginia. brown was convicted of brutally assaulting his former girlfriend Rihanna on Feb. 8, 2009. He was sentenced in August 2009 to five years’ probation in addition to the community service.

Sat the hell down Chris Brown! I could care less about his backpack. I am juts irritated that this abusive prix is sitting here smiling in court. I can’t wait until I become a prosecutor. Mr. Breezy- believe you me I would of had you locked up getting beat in your ass by your roomate in jail! I believe in forgiveness and retribution but I don’t feel like Brown has really acknowledged or taken responsibility for his actions. Oh, and Sandra… whats up with the Republicans not allowing a vote on unemployment benefits and DADT? Though I get your point it seems like he never really genuinely acknowledged the acts that he committed except when it was affecting him professionally and economically. He was at the club popping bottles, riding jets skis, on the court side at basketball games and tweeting naked pics of his ex after this went down. He can certainly smile again- but after he takes responsibility for his actions and pays his debt in full to society. But I guess I can the devil advocate and assume that possibly he did all this in private and at the direction of a higher power, family and a pastor. Cows are killed for food, so to throw the leather away would be a waste. To kill an animal just to wear it’s fur just seems wrong to me, but that is my opinion. I have a fake fur coat and it is just as warm as a real one and it’s pretty
