Keri Hilson, Katy Perry & Jennifer Nettles Salute the Troops

A few nights ago, someone in Keri’s camp called to ask my “honest” opinion on Keri’s new music video, “The Way You Love Me”, off her upcoming No Boys Allowed CD.
I appreciated the opportunity to share my viewpoint, but I don’t think it went over very well. I really, really want to like Keri, but she tries too hard, which is typical of people with limited talent. She’s gorgeous though.
“VH1 Divas Salute the Troops” concert event will be televised on Sunday, December 5 at 9:00 PM ET/PT on VH1.

Keri and Katy look cute too…All three are very talented IMO…what limits Keri’s talent? Cause ahhhh SONGWRITING is a good talent to have. Ask Kandi. Ask Missy. Ask Ashanti…All probably still spending that ASCAP money…record sales money prolly BEEN gone…She might not be the best performer…but writing royalties last dayum near forever if you play your cards right.

One thing I really don’t understand is why so many people claim Keri can’t sing? I don’t get that, OK she’s no Whitney Houston or Mariah Carey but she’s definitely a good singer.

Jen Nettles is the lead singer from Sugarland…they are kinda pop coutnry if there IS sucha thing….she has one of the oddest voices there is but for some odd reason I like it…it has what I call “a yodel” to it…Marsha Ambrosius has one too…
