Keyshia Cole Covers JET Magazine

These are not my words, they’re Toya’z:

Keyshia Cole has been pretty lowkey with this new album and everything just seems a tad bit rushed. Plus, her songs are not doing as well as expected. Here, she covers the latest issue of JET magazine, which is currently on newsstands.

The 29-year-old speaks to the magazine about her new album ‘Calling All Hearts’ which will drop in stores next week on Dec 21st. On top of that, she spills the beans on her cushy lifestyle with fiancé Daniel Gibson and 9-month-old son Daniel Jr.

Lovely. Again, it will be very interesting to see what numbers Ms Cole pulls in next week especially without the guidance of a reality show.

Listen to snippets of every song on Keyshia’s new album here.

Celebs Out & About: Rihanna, Serena Williams

Tennis superstar Serena Williams stepped out in Miami this weekend wearing a black cast decorated with studs and glitter. The injury-prone Serena has been hobbling around on crutches since July after she stepped on broken glass in a restaurant. She initially received 18 stitches to close the wound, but then infection set in and she required surgery to clean the wound. Now I’m hearing Serena has osteomyelitis — a serious bone infection — in her right foot, which explains the cast.

Osteomyelitis can result in great loss of bone, but is treatable if caught early. The injury has caused Serena to miss all the summer tennis tournaments, including the US Open. Her No. 1 World ranking now a thing of the past, she is ranked fourth in the world. Get better, Serena!

Singer Rihanna posted this adorable Twitpic to her Twitter page over the weekend. It seems she’s reverted to her childhood in order to cope with the emotionally draining loss of yet another loser boyfriend. Isn’t she cute? As you know, RiRi reportedly kicked Matt Kemp to the curb after rumors of his cheating ways got back to her. As soon as he was gone, Rihanna’s best friend, Melissa, stepped back into her role as counselor and confidante. [Thanks Karen!]

Celebs Out & About: Janet Jackson, Ciara

Janet Jackson was spotted shopping in Milan, Italy over the weekend. The 44-year-old pop Icon recently announced her biggest world tour yet — 35 cities for 35 hit singles.

Decades of wearing hair extensions and lacefront wigs has done a number on Janet’s thinning hairline. The fact that Janet is premenopausal has worsened her condition. But she doesn’t seem to let it bother her enough to cover her head with more lacefront wigs. Good for her!

Dwyane Wade does the George Jefferson after dunking [Video]

You youngsters may not be familiar with George Jefferson since he was way before your time. George was the grouchy-but-lovable, tight fisted businessman on the 70s TV hit sitcom The Jeffersons. Among the many quotables and scene stealing antics that made George famous was his signature dance.

On Saturday, the rejuvenated Miami Heat, who have won 8 straight games, rolled over the hapless Sacramento Kings 104-83. The Heat seemed to have found their Mojo with 35-year-old, 6′-11″ center Erick Dampier, who was signed after Udonis Haslem was sidelined with an ankle injury.

During the 4th quarter, Dwyane Wade broke out his own version of the infamous George Jefferson dance. After the game, Wade responded to reporter’s questions about his impromptu dance move:

“I have no idea,” Wade said. “That was spontaneous. I know people are going to kill me for that, I know these guys are going to kill me for it. But it was just spontaneous. I don’t really get too many tip dunks. So I was excited, you know. It felt good.”

What should we call it?

“Hey, whatever they want to give it,” Wade said. “(Sideline reporter Jason Jackson) said they called it the George Jefferson already. So they can roll with it.”

Celebrity Seed: Halle Berry, Seal, Tyrese Gibson, Jordan Bratman

While parts of the East coast shivered under an arctic blast of freezing temps and snow, Halle Berry, 44, and her adorable daughter, Nahla Aubry, 2, enjoyed the balmy weather on a beach in Malibu, California yesterday. Halle, who has a history of failed relationships with emotionally unavailable men, once said: “I want love, and I will find it, hopefully.” You would think that a gorgeous woman like Halle would have no trouble finding and keeping a man (or woman). But, unfortunately for Halle, her beauty is also her curse.

Actor Tyrese Gibson, 31, and his adorable 3-year-old daughter Shayla Iylana Gibson, were spotted shopping at The Grove in Los Angeles, California on Saturday, Nov. 11. Shayla’s grandmother (not pictured) also went along for the fun.

Mother Nature vs. Minneapolis Metrodome Roof [Video]

Cameras positioned inside the massive Minneapolis Metrodome stadium captured the amazing scene at the moment the inflatable roof collapsed under the weight of tons of snow yesterday morning.

The gigantic scoreboard crashed to the stadium floor as the inflatable roof tore open dumping Mother Nature’s payload of snow all over the field.

If the video is terrifying to you at home or work, imagine how the guy racing away from the cataclysm in that little golf cart (at the 0:11 second mark) must have felt.

Sunday’s Vikings-Giants game was moved to Monday night in Detroit.

Jada Pinkett-Smith, Whitney Houston and Brandy Norwood Offer Parenting Advice

You might think Jada Pinkett-Smith, Whitney Houston and Brandy Norwood are the last people on earth who should be offering parenting advice to anyone. But they don’t feel that way.

Jada, Brandy and Whitney were recently asked their best piece of parenting advice. Their answers gives some insight into the environment that their over-indulged, spoiled brats are being raised in. Don’t be surprised when these children act out and begin to abuse drugs and alcohol at a young age.

Here’s what the ladies had to say.

Jada Pinkett-Smith allows her kids to raise themselves:

“Staying out of kids’ space can teach them to be responsible for their own decisions and mistakes. Is it their room, or are they borrowing the space while they’re living in your house? If it’s theirs, then they should be able to do whatever they want with it. If it’s their clothes, they have the right to do whatever they want with those clothes. We have to give them some freedom to be who they are.”
