This Christmas, it wasn’t the thought that counted, it was the diamonds!
Pop star Rihanna reportedly gave her best friend Melissa a sparkly diamond ring for Christmas!
Judging from these pics taken last night at the ‘Models & Bottles’ party at the Ship Inn Club in Barbados, it’s obvious that Melissa is thrilled to have Rihanna back in her life! Rihanna is spending the Christmas holidays in Barbados with her family and friends.
The besties dressed alike and rarely left each other’s side as the crowd sang along with every song on Rihanna’s LOUD album.
“They’re not lesbian lovers,” said my source via phone. “They have the same kind of relationship as Gayle [King] and Oprah.”
Yesterday, US Weekly magazine confirmed the split between Rihanna and Dodgers star Matt Kemp.
Word is that the insecure baseball star felt threatened by the close bond between the two women. As you know, Rihanna and Mel frequently shared beds hotel rooms while on the road — and Matt wasn’t having that.
Eventually, Rihanna got tired of Matt’s whining and she sent Melissa back home to their native Barbados.
Many of Rihanna’s fans wondered what happened to the ever-present Mel who was a staple in paparazzi pics with RiRi. Friends say Rihanna missed Melissa terribly while she traveled on tour with the moody Kemp.
Though Mel was out of the picture temporarily, she still received a weekly stipend from Rihanna as her personal assistant. Meanwhile, RiRi hired another personal assistant to travel with her and Matt.

I can get through 100 crunches in about 5 mins. I do them in sets of 40-50.
Now…..every other excercise….takes me a while. (Mostly the cardio.)
My stomach is hard as hell when you poke it. But because I suck at using the cardio to get it off, it’s no bueno.
I excel at ab workouts….. (I mastered P90x on 3rd try all the way through.) And suck at the rest of it.
