According to credible sources, singer Brandy Norwood is pregnant with her 2nd child.
Norwood, 31, already has one daughter, Sy’rai Iman Smith, 7, who is probably thrilled to have a little addition to their household.
This all makes sense when you consider that Brandy’s once stellar recording career is now a thing of the past.
Norwood has recently taken up with 27-year-old BET 106 & Park co-host Terrence J., who fancies himself to be an actor. But Terrence can’t seem to find any legitimate acting work. So, like Brandy, he too accepts scripted reality TV gigs.
It should come as no surprise that the two of them are now supposedly dating.
Brandy, who recently appeared as a contestant on ‘Dancing with the Stars,’ is currently featured on the 2nd season of VH1′s “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business,” which premiered in December 2010.
Now, word has it that Brandy is in the early stages of her 2nd pregnancy. No one is surprised. But industry insiders are wondering who the daddy is. The baby’s sperm donor certainly isn’t Terrence who has never had a real girlfriend in his life.

Man beats 92-year-old grandmother to death
The Augusta Chronicle reports that a man has been jailed for beating his 92-year-old grandmother to death.
According to authorities, Theodore “Ted” Cornell Lockett, 21, once lived with his grandma, Dorothy Lockwood, in her Apache Trail home.
Police say Lockett returned to the home in the early hours of Sunday morning. He broke out a window and confronted his grandmother in the living room. Lockett began assaulting her, knocking her to the floor and striking her several times in the head with a glass table.
Lockett then called his mother, Sondra Lockett, around 2 a.m. and told her he’d just killed his grandmother and was going to kill her, according to the police report. He went back inside the home and resumed his attack on the elderly woman, beating her with a microwave oven.
When police arrived, Lockett surrendered without incident inside the home. Mrs. Lockwood died from her injuries at 5 a.m. Sunday. Another woman in the home was uninjured. She was bedridden and being cared for by Lockwood.
Lockett had been treated at a behavioral health facility in the past, but he has no psychiatric diagnosis.
He was booked on charges of murder, aggravated assault, burglary and making terroristic threats.

Leighton Meester, otherwise known as Blair Waldorf on the wildly popular TV series Gossip Girls, showed off her trendy forward fashion sense during filming of an episode of the show on Madison Avenue in NYC today.
The singer/actress is the face of fashion houses Missoni and Vera Wang. And like Rihanna, Beyonce, Kim Kardashian and countless other celebrities, Leighton also has a perfume line coming out.
I’m not sure if that’s Missoni she’s wearing. But she looks hawt! When you’re a rich b*tch like Blair Waldorf, the only thing you carry while shopping is your sense of style and your chic red quilted leather Chanel bag ($4,000) across your arm — while your hired help totes your shopping bags.
There are some women who would die to have Blair’s lifestyle, but in reality, having an endless supply of cash is no fun. Especially when people who wouldn’t normally give you a second look, come crawling out of the woodwork.
The new season of Gossip Girl returns on January 24 at 9/8c on The CW.

Celebs Out & About: Ciara, Spike Lee, Lindsay Lohan
Singer Ciara and actor Denzel Washington had a nice talk at halftime of the Knicks vs Lakers game yesterday. We LOVE Ciara’s UGGs snow boots. She is so trendy. The Los Angeles Lakers defeated the New York Knicks by the final score of 109-87 at Staples Center in Downtown Los Angeles. R&B singer Monica, who lives with her man, Lakers guard Shannon Brown in LA, skipped the game yesterday because both her man and her 3-year-old son, Melo, weren’t feeling well.
Director Spike Lee and Lindsay Lohan struck up a conversation before the Knicks vs Lakers game in LA yesterday. Lindsay and her ex-lover DJ Samantha Ronson cleared up their differences and have agreed to be cordial to each other after Sam became irate when she found out that LiLo was moving in next door to her in Venice, CA.

Troubled singer chris brown, 21, and Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Antawn Jamison, 34, partied at My studio in LA over the weekend. Over the past few months, I’ve received quite a few emails from loyal readers advising me of brown’s sexual orientation. Not that I care who he sleeps with, but judging from these photos, the rumors seem to be true.

1 Inch of Snow Paralyzes Atlanta
This morning, Atlantans awakened to find the city blanketed with snow. After turning on the news and hearing that the city was virtually immobilized, I grabbed my tape measure and stepped out onto my balcony.
I measured a total of 1-inch of snowfall that had accumulated during the night.
Folks from up North laugh at 1 inch of snow. But that 1 inch has shut the city of Atlanta down. 2,000 flights have been canceled in and out of Atlanta Hartsfield Airport — the busiest airport in the nation.
City government and schools are closed. Highways are closed. Buses and trains are standing still. Banks and grocery stores are closed. If you need gas in your car to get to work: forget it.
Fortunately, that 1 inch of snow didn’t bring down any power lines in my neck of the woods. Thank God for small miracles, I guess.
Rumor Control: Omarion Press Release is Fake
According to Jawn Murray of AOL Black Voices:
A rep for singer Omarion has confirmed to BlackVoices.com that a press release circulating on the internet claiming that he formally announced he is “bisexual” is a hoax.
The internet was abuzz Saturday afternoon when several online blogs posted what appeared to be a press release serviced on behalf of Omarion (real name: Omari Ishmael Grandberry) addressing his sexuality.
The unedited press release read: “I pride myself in being an honest, God Fearing, respectful man. I have kept my personal life private and wanted to keep it that way. Unfortunately, other’s are interested in profiting from my anguish; so before they can do that, I will clarify things. I am not at all what certain ex-band members are trying to paint me as, I am however a respectable, mature, proud, bisexual man.”
The fake press announcement was attributed to Sharron Wright at Sony Music; however BlackVoices.com reported exclusively on April 19, 2008 that the singer was no longer affiliated with the label. (See: ”O’ No: Singer Omarion Dropped By Record Label’)
The 26-year-old former B2K member’s rep, Francoise Blachette of The Purple Agency, promptly responded to BlackVoices.com inquiry for comment on the matter.
“The previously released statement regarding Omarion is false and was generated for negative publicity by an unknown person. Omarion will not contribute to anything negative said or done against him. Omarion respects all of his fans, no matter religion, sexuality, or race,” she said in a statement.
Omarion then took to his Twitter page to respond as well. (See below)
