‘Popular’ Atlanta Party Promoter Arrested for Robbing Bank
A 30-year-old Chamblee woman was arrested for robbing a Dunwoody bank on Friday, according to the Atlanta Journal.
The suspect, Chantel Calloway of Chamblee, entered Regions Bank on Mt. Vernon Road at 11:30 a.m. and handed the teller a note demanding cash, police said. She was wearing a baseball hat and a wig, police said.
After leaving the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash, Calloway was spotted by an officer responding to the scene, police said. He detained Calloway, who no longer had the hat or wig, and took her back to the bank where a teller identified her, police said.
A K-9 unit helped police find Calloway’s disguise nearby, police said.
Calloway is reportedly a member of Cloud 9, a group of party promoters in Atlanta. She is said to be popular on the party scene, but no one I’ve spoken to seems to know who she is.
She promoted herself as a “seasoned event-planning provider” on her Twitter and Myspace pages where she posted numerous photos of herself with celebrities.

Polow Da Don Named Top Producer By Billboard
Music producer Polow Da Don, 32, was named Top Producer of 2010 by Billboard magazine after placing 12 singles in the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 2010.
Other noteworthy producers, such as Swizz Beatz, Will.I.Am, Kanye West and Jermaine Dupri, all failed to make the list.
Polow, who moved back to Atlanta after living on the west coast for 1½ years, says he wants to bring soul back to R&B music and revitalize the music industry in Atlanta.

Mila Kunis is back on the market
Gorgeous actess Mila Kunis — who’s setting lesbun hearts aflutter in her new movie ‘Black Swan’ — has officially split from longtime boyfriend Macaulay Culkin, 30.
Macaulay Culkin spent his holidays home alone, but this time, it was no laughing matter. Culkin has split from his girlfriend of eight years, actress Mila Kunis.
The pair, who began dating in 2002, have reportedly been broken up for some time, although they’ve kept the split quiet while Kunis, 27, promotes ‘Black Swan.’
According to Kunis’ rep, “The split was amicable, and they remain close friends.”
