Cher Lloyd is a no talent, worse 17yr old tweener wannabe rapper who was supposed to be a mini-me version of Cheryl Cole.. along the lines of another Ke$ha – an electro poptart autotuned lip syncing female pop/hip hop rapper. She was favored by the judges against more talented contestants and forced through to the finals by Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell intentionally. When public scores were revealed after the latest xfactor series (UK’s American Idol) was over, Cher Lloyd was actually in the bottom two contestants 3 times over the series! No other contestant has ever made the finals with public votes in bottom 2 more than 2 times in the show’s history. Thus, proving Cheryl and Simon’s ulterior motive of making her the winner and pushing her through over better singers. Controversy started during the judges house votes when Cheryl Cole put Cher Lloyd and Katie Waissel through to the live shows over the better black female contestant Ghamu. Cries of racism resulted against Cole.

[Side note: Cheryl Cole was charged and convicted of assaulting a black female washroom attendant in the early 2000’s, resulting in her being a convicted felon. The police report says she called the lady expletives including the N-word several times. Word is she is having a hard time getting a US work visa due to the conviction and hence, might be delaying the xfactor US final judge’s announcements by Cowell.]

When it came to the finals, Simon bent the rules and made it a 4 contestant final when normally it was ALWAYS 3. Thus, allowing Cher Lloyd to get in the sing-off. Luckily, the judges had no votes in the final.. only the public votes count and Cher came in 3rd out of 4 contestants.

At most she did 1.5 decent performances out of 5-6 total on xfactor. She ruined Eminem and Rihanna’s song and did a remix version of JayZ’s song which got his attention. She came off as lame and cheesy, karaoke at best. Girl cannot rap!! That’s where the rumors came she signed to Roc Nation. She is actually signed to Syco (Cowell’s UK label) and Sony. A check of Roc Nation shows no Cher Lloyd in the artists section.

A quick of UK music forums and urban music blogs – she is hated in the UK as much as she is in the states, lol. Waste of time for all involved. She should go to college. People are just riding on the overrated hype machine that is Cher Lloyd. One hit wonder at best.
