@WonderWoman Summer 2012.. They originally asked Idris Elba but he didn’t handle the transition to action and the other side of the law, too well. Stringer Bell was soft and then he just wasn’t believable as Luther…. so they scrapped him. I say TP must have thrown a bunch of money behnd the project because I don’t see him being any more believable than Idris. I mean, how are they gonna handle the showdown with Kyle Craig? If he’a real tough guy (think Jason Statham or Bruce Willis) we’ll all just be waiting for him to bytch slap TP like Nic Cage and John Leguizamo in Con Air. yall know that was funny as hail!
