Celeb Style: Willow Smith
Last week we were all surprised to learn that singing sensation Willow Smith, who is famous for her nauseating hit song “Whip My Hair,” doesn’t have much hair of her own to whip. British paparazzi caught up with the 10-year-old in London just hours after she took down her long braid extensions to allow her roots to breathe. Willow’s badly damaged hair barely touches her shoulders. But through the magic of hair weaving and bonding glue, Willow is able to flip her new waist length, yellow braids back and forth any time she wants to.

Finally first!
She doesn’t have much hair of her own because she had a bob, mohawk, or whatever. It looks like she’s growing it back out and is in the in-between stages.

The confident little person that she is…I highly doubt she is caught up in having long luscious hair at all. I am pretty sure in the future she is gonna chop it off and rock it like her grandma n mama used to.

I feel sorry for her. She may have wanted the fame and all that but did not expect to have to be on her grind so much. I think she always puts on a smile to make it seem as if she’s happy and enjoying it, but I’m sure she gets tired of it. So sad to me.

Messy, messy, messy soooo messy you are Sandra Rose. Shame on you. First of all, her hair looked to be it its NATURAL stage sans a relaxer in the pic where she removed the braids. Secondly, so what if she gave her hair time to breathe. Furthermore, WHY is it an issue if her hair touches her shoulders or not. She looks to have the same length of hair that Selah Marley had and you praised her! And LASTLY (but not least), who uses bonding glue to do braids? You and yo’ British a$$ cousins need to go sat down somewhere!
I don’t care what anyone says, Will and Jada should not have put this child to work like this at such an early age. I could understand if she was in the cast of a kids type show where she is not the focus, like a Mickey Mouse club type thing.

Ok– just because her hair is short does not mean that it is damaged. She did just have the side of her head shaved and its growing back. Not to mention it will grow back healthy. Uneven- but healthy.
I will say– you will be the first commenting on LSLH girls and the hype behind them/us from the media and people that prefer to date or look this way, AND THEN turn around and criticize this little girl for not being a LSLH chick with long lucious locks!
She’s only TEN by the way! Lord willing- no one will EVER jump on my sons character or appearance this way.

Sandra, that hair you see hanging practically to her shoulders is just from the top of her head. She doesn’t have that much hair on the sides because it was shaved recently. So actually her hair is quit long.
