Plies Host Obsession Sundays At The World Famous Velvet Room
There are still a few ladies left who love rapper Plies and his triple XL baggy jeans down around his ankles. That look doesn’t do it for me or any grown woman that I know. This post is devoid of beautiful Decatur Flavors for a good reason. There were none to be found in Plies’ VIP section. Instead, Plies was surrounded by the hard legs who he’s fond of.
Apparently, their motto is: never let a woman come between them? Anyway, Plies, who doesn’t have a record out that I know of, hosted Obsession Sundays at the world famous Velvet Room this past Sunday.

What is so funny about Plies is that he is SO educated. He was down here for a show and did a radio interview. I told my husband that was NOT Plies. He spoke very well, but then rap like he a got a bowl full of poop in his mouth. I like a man that dresses like Common, that is why I shop at Express and the like for my husband.

Plies is cute to me (except for the gold teeth) he has a nice face plus the fact that he is smart helps. Too bad he and others feel the need to dumb down to be successful because that’s what sells more. I remember someone saying that in a rap song but I forgot who.

Speaking of smart rappers Bun B. was on Monique and said he is going to be a college professor teaching a course in “rap & religion”. I heard him on NPR a few months ago & he is so intelligent, it was great.

Most of these entertainers/rappers are old as hell. Why won’t they dress like grown men? How can you approach a “grown” ass woman looking like that and expect to be taken seriously? Those that know better tend to do better.
