Meagan Good and Pooch Promote ‘Jumping The Broom’ at CAU
Actors Meagan Good and Pooch Hall visited Clark-Atlanta University to promote their film TriStar Pictures film JUMPING THE BROOM yesterday.
Meagan and Pooch signed autographs for over 500 students who came out to catch a glimpse of the stars. Pooch Hall was mauled by the excited students, as his presence caused a near riot on campus, and a trending topic on Twitter.
One student, a female, burst into tears upon meeting her idol Meagan, who stars along with Pooch in BET’s ‘The Game.’
After participating in a college press conference and signing hundreds of autographs (in the baking hot sun!), Meagan and Pooch headed over to STRIP Atlantic Station, where they broke bread with a lively group of reporters. The two ended the day at a special college screening of JUMPING THE BROOM. “That was actually my first time seeing it,” said Pooch. “I’m incredibly proud to be a part of this film.”
The JUMPING THE BROOM HBCU Tour continues this week with stops at NC A&T, Florida A&M and Howard University.

9th body found in NY; Serial Killer may be a cop
Police now know that a serial killer was hard at work dumping bodies in Long Island, NY since December, 2006 — they just don’t know who he is, or how many bodies they will ultimately find.
Yesterday, police unearthed a 9th set of bones that might belong to a woman who went missing after advertising her escort services online. 4 of the 9 women found so far along a quarter-mile strip of beachfront property, were prostitutes who advertised on Craigslist.com or other similar websites.
The woman who sparked the search was Shannon Gilbert, 24, a prostitute who went missing after she ran screaming from the home of a wealthy client in the gated millionaires’ community of Oak Beach.
Neighbors alerted the police when she knocked on a door screaming, “they’re trying to kill me,” before running off. She was never seen again. Police don’t believe he client was responsible for her disappearance.
The peaceful serenity of the quiet retirement community has been shattered. Homes that once listed for $1 million are now going for $600,000 or less.

Beyonce’s sister Solange Knowles, 24, posed for pictures on the red carpet at ELLE’s 2nd Annual Women In Music Event at Music Box yesterday (April 11) in Hollywood, California. Solange is starting to make a little noise for herself now that her DJ career went bust. Word is she’s in the studio recording a new album. At least she keeps trying!
Singer Jordin Sparks, 22, attended the same event looking ravishing after a 60lb weight loss! It’s a good thing that singer Steph Jones snapped Jordin up before she transformed into a brunette Beyonce. Now all the men are noticing Jordin for the first time. Other stars in attendance included singer Robyn, Sophia Bush, Gillian Jacobs and Kara DioGuardi, among others.

Rumor Control: Frankie Did Not Fail Urine Drug Test
There’s a vicious rumor going around the blogosphere that singer Keyshia Cole’s mom, Frankie Lons, 50, was arrested for failing a urine drug test. Well, I’m happy to report that the rumor is not true.
According to Frankie’s publicist, Cherry Banez, Frankie was arrested, but not because she failed a drug test. Frankie missed her probation visit due to the fact that she was undergoing treatment at Dr. Dårew’s Pasadena Rehab center in California.

Sandra! fyi – unfortunately, Frankie was in a catch 22 situation – she missed probation because she was at rehab at Dr. Drew’s Pasadena center. That’s what lead to the arrest, not drugs as published by mediatakeout.
Frankie is 50 years old and I am doing what I can to help her change her image into a sober woman who has made regrettable mistakes. As she approaches the next phase of her life with grandkids and her new found children, I hope she does succeed. Keep up the good work with your Medical Minutes — what I am trying to say is you have readers who may not get medical info in traditional sources, but through your blog, [they] can at least receive medical info while getting their entertainment as well!

Rapper Jay-Z, 41, is still seething after being humiliated by the NBA who fined the NJ Nets $50,000 after Jigga posed with players on Kentucky’s men’s basketball team during the NCAA championships. Not only that, but Kentucky went on to lose the next round.

Meanwhile, his wife, Beyonce, 29, was seen shooting a music video for her next single, entitled “Girl” due out this week or next. The picture is very grainy because it was taken with a long zoom lens. The music video will feature fashions by Bey’s favorite designer of the moment, Roberto Cavalli. According to a Stan over on the Beyonce World forums who heard “Girl”:
“…the song starts with drums, and u heard them chanting girl in the back i think. (again its muffled but i get it) then the Pon di floor beat drops added with another beat. Then Bey comes on and Says GIRL!!! We run this mother F-cking Ish! she says it like 3-4 times… Then she say Who Run The World? Girl! Who the run world? Girl. Who Run this Mother?! Girls, Who Run This Mother?! Girls…”
It sounds like more of the same: Bey screaming her head off over the track while trying to convince herself that she’s somehow still relevant in today’s music.

Once Again, An Older Woman Proves Usher is a Wimp
It is well-known that R&B crooner Usher Raymond is a classic example of a man who still struggles with Oedipus Complex. OC focuses on a boy’s desire to sexually control his mother. Most boys who fall in love with their mothers quickly outgrow that juvenile stage and transfer their sexual urgings to girls in their peer group. But Usher’s mother dominated him so completely when he was growing up that he was never able to get past that stage.
According to the NY Post’s gossip machine, Page SIX, Usher’s lover of 2 years, Grace Miguel, the former head of creative development at Island Def Jam, is exerting even more control over Usher than Tameka did.
Usher’s gal pal, Grace Miguel, is now calling all the shots in their relationship, sources tell Page Six.
The 43-year-old former Def Jam executive who acts as the hip-hop artist’s co-manager and stylist is urging her beau to clear out his staff including stylists, choreographers and tour managers and replace them with her people, an insider says.Usher’s longtime agent, Mark Cheatham of CAA, is the first victim of his much older girlfriend. Cheatham was tight-lipped when we contacted him. “I don’t know anything about it. I’ve been with Usher for a long time,” he told us. “I’ve been on great terms with Usher. Talk to my publicist.”
A CAA publicist never got back to us, but Usher is no longer listed on their client list.
A source close to Cheatham tells us, “Mark is really upset. He’s been with him from the beginning. He thinks Usher will come back, He’s just waiting.”

When Mariah first announced her pregnancy, didn’t I tell you that these two attention whores would pimp their babies to the world at every opportunity?
I’m sick of these babies already and they’re not even born yet. Most attention whore celebrity parents wait at least until the babies are born before selling their spawn out to the highest bidder. But not these two. Mariah and Nick Cannon have no class!
