2011 Billboard Music Awards (Performances)
R&B singer Rihanna, 23, tried to recreate that same spark that Britney Spears and Madonna brought to the MTV Awards by kissing on the lips. But Brit foiled Rihanna’s plans by turning her cheek at the last minute!
No matter what she did, Rihanna was unable to create any excitement during the 2011 Billboard Music Awards last night in Las Vegas. Her sex-charged performance of “S&M” with Britney Spears fell flat.
Nicki Minaj’s performance of “Super Bass” also fell flat. Is it possible that audiences are beginning to tune out these mass produced, canned and vacuum packed artists?

Good Morning All,
I missed the whole show. Was busy watching the conference finals last night. I see I didn’t miss much. Love RiRi and NIcki. But they are horrible performers.
I recorded the show but primarily watched the game as well.
I can’t believe these awards show continually allow Rihanna to open up.
Her performance was flat, she sounded bad and Brittany Spears was so stiff and she didn’t sing live. #FAIL
She’s wack! Point blank period.
Oh yeah and Britney done fell the phluck off.
Happy I missed it… horrible performances stop in the first 10min of watchin.
Rih’s performance was ok..britney looked lost.
Nicki’s live performances are horrid! It was all over the place, couldn’t hear her half the time & those gawd awful horse teeth make me cringe.
I did not watch one stitch of this mess. Did not even know it came on until this morning when i logged on…
I agree with u Sandra the performance was flat. I am so sick and tired of seeing these “so-called”artists in leotard, it is so played out.
And Sandra, stop referring to Rihana as a “R&B” Artist, she not, she’s Pop.

Niki, was in and out of character, for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what she was saying. Looking at her from the back, she reminds me of a Bumblebee lol.

I know, and she has been doing this for a few yrs now. She is only 23 and has little girls that look up to her. Parents need to grow up and be their kids role models.

Are Rihanna’s fifteen minutes of singing up yet? She’s known more for the clothes she wears anyway so she should just go be a model or socialite like Cassie, C Milian and the likes.
I fell asleep on the awards and missed the game. Sad about the game, happy I missed the awards.
