Beyoncé Drops “God Bless The USA”

Beyoncé Knowles dropped her version of “God Bless The USA” last night on CNN’s “Piers Morgan Tonight” — just days after close family friend, U.S. President Barack Obama, killed the world’s #1 terrorist.

The single is now available on iTunes.

Proceeds from the sales of the song will benefit the New York Police & Fire Widows’ & Children’s Benefit Fund. Good for Beyonce for showing her benevolent side. She really needs the shine, especially now that the entire industry is whispering about how Kelly Rowland’s single, “Motivation”, leaped past Bey’s “Run The World Girls” on the Billboard Hot 100 chart.

You really have to be a hard core Beyoncé Stan not to see that Beyoncé’s reign is finally over.

I like this… Just heard Kelly’s “Motivation” for the first and I’m not really impressed. It’s not a bad song whatsoever, but I’m not really sure what the buzz is all about? The video on the other hand is undeniably HOT and very, very sexual. Not sure if that’s a good thing or not… Oh well.

The song wasn’t bad, but it wasn’t nothing special either. When you have a song that is so common and we’ve all heard many different people sing before, it kind of gets bored. If her whole purpose of doing this song was to make money, IDK if that was the right way to go. Two issues:

A) Can someone please explain why this is a NEW song this week, when I deleted it off of my iPod two years ago, after having it for almost three?

B) Am I the only one who can tell which direction Beyonce’s new management is headed in with them releasing pictures of her “down to earth a$$” at Disneyland amongst the commoners… having a pity party with welfare recipient (Solange’s baby daddy) by taking him on an all-expense paid trip to Paris and buying him lunch (and sitting outside so everyone can see it), being seen with “common folk” at Jay Z’s nephew’s graduation, popping up at a grade-school to “surprise” the cheerun, recording a song for the children to get “healthy”…

Damn, they could at least ACT like this $hit ain’t planned.

The difference is that they risk their lives everyday so that they can protect you. Just because you sign up for something doesn’t make it any less tragic when someone dies.

And don’t even try to come at me with the whole “police are corrupt” and “they don’t do sh*t” because it’s not true for all. Some fall into those categories but some are honestly there to protect and serve and they put themselves into harms way so that you are protected.

People join the military and deploy to Iraq knowing that they may not return but that doesn’t make me feel any better when they are killed in the line of duty.

Beyonce has long been trying to get in with the Obamas. Typical Knowles move to do any and everything to be in the spotlight. She heard Michelle was promoting children fitness, now all of a sudden she does a song for them and randomly showing up at elementary schools. Beyonce is pathetic. I can’t stand her.
