If you've been wondering who influences the fashion tastes of the NBA's Big Three, Amar'e Stoudemire, LeBron James and Chris Bosh; meet their stylist, Rachel Johnson.

Johnson is a six-foot tall sista who parlayed her impeccable style and taste into a successful career as a personal shopper to celebs, such as Jamie Foxx, Puffy, Keyshia Cole, Ne-Yo and the Knicks' Amar'e Stoudemire.

A quick Google search reveals that Johnson, 36, has put in her time picking out ties and matching socks for her friends and well-heeled clients:

After over a decade of working on countless photo shoots, videos, commercials and red carpet appearances, Rachel launched the Thomas Faison Agency with the goal to provide stylistic freedom for just about anyone who seeks it. She and her accomplished team of wardrobe visionaries “view style as intensely personal and a reflection of the individual.” Source

In this video, Rachel gives you an insider's peek into the closet of the Miami Heat's LeBron James. Watch as LeBron, who always has to have everyone's attention focused on him, interrupts Rachel repeatedly as she explains her styling techniques. Narcissists are annoying

I can appreciate that the sister is making it do what it do, but she is in desperate need of an assistant because she is f*cking horrible. A stylist is supposed to have bring some umph, or some je ne sais quoi, or some STYLE. Lebron James' suits never have any style, his shirt and tie always look like he bought one of them cheap a$$ sets from Burlington Coat Factory and Chris Bosh always looks like a 12 year old queen in colors no man would be caught dead in.

Stylist? I guess all you need to become a stylist is to know someone with no style who doesn't know any better.

  • Ididntreallymeanit

I don't like the suit she picked out for him.

Sooooooo THIS is the individual RESPONSIBLE for those Dudes LQQKING All-Out GAY AS A MFer The VAST Majority of the Time (Interesting...) :coffee:

Are we sure she's not Roger Johnson? As was said before she is doing her thing, and that's whats up, but the styles she has these guys wearing....no thanks. I appreciate my man looking suave and debonaire and dare I say MANLY. Thatisall!

  • mjoylaw

Cosign elove, exactly what I was thinking--it's these wack axx "stylists" that have all these celebrity men looking like ..!

  • http://sandrarose.com Sandra Rose

When I see Chris Bosh, I see a very confident young man who is secure in his manhood. I shake my head slowly at grown men who worry about what other men think of their personal style and wardrobe.

  • prima_donna2163

And I detect a little flirtatiousness? Did not like the way she turned and looked at him....definitely a little wishful thinking there...but again the suit.....meh

You can be "secure in your manhood", and still be a strawberry shortcake. :coffee:

It's good that they have a black stylist, but this chicks style game is whack! I call her style Preppyboy gay. It's unmasculine and soft with a bunch of random colors that rarely go together. That's why Bosh looks so emasculated. To see how an athlete can become a fashion trend setter go back and look at Jordan. Sophisticated, Chic, stylish and masculine. Oh well, I guess she went to some overpriced fashion school and that makes her choices enlightened, NOT!

Who is this broad Sandra has hired to cover the site over the weekend, because Sandra should have put some of the regulars on the interview panel so we'll actually BELIEVE she's Sandra. LMAO!

Ain't no way in hell Sandra Rose would have made THAT comment, when 5 out of every men she's ever reported on has been accused of being "teh ghey" - LOL

If Trey Songz had on the VERY $hit Chris Bosh wears, he would be accused of being GAY. And my point about the colors was not about MANHOOD, it's about looking a hot a$$ mess in a baby blue suit with a pink shirt and bowtie. That's not about SECURITY, that's about a WTFism!!! I wear pink and I wear baby blue, but at the same time? GTFOH

  • musicluvher

Well color me unfashionable  but I thought the guys look great in their suits.

    Job well done Rachel!!

Would you guys rather see them in velour suits with a pair of J's and a snapback???

The problem is that these guys look average, to below average - and when you're paying a STYLIST, you should stand out in the crowd. When you look no different (or better) than the guys who shop at the Suit Factory and you're PAYING someone for that, that's some wasted cash that you may as well divy up amongst your begging a$$ed family members and send to them every month.

  • datsmdubya2u

Oh I didn't know it was picture day at the elementary school.

Is that third picture Chris Bosh with his lips pursed like Kim Kardashian?

    Lud!

  • datsmdubya2u

    Oh yeah. GO MAVS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • MrsMantha

Does she style D Wade? I think he dresses above average.

  • vero

 @ all these outfits !

  • KrayZKat

I'm proud that this sista has made name for herself. If the ones wearing the clothes are happy with the look, so be it. That's all that matters. People are always gonna have something negaative to say about someone else's style because it doesn't suit them. It's not supposed to suit us, only the one wearing it.

Ahhh WHOSE STYLE are you talking about... These Dudes are letting THIS FEMALE Dress Them and Very Inappropriately IMO

NOW this is coming from a 100% STR8 Man who Dresses HIMSELF... For HIMSELF... By HIMSELF (Word...)

And NONE OF THOSE Pics up there are REMOTELY Flattering from a Grown-AZZ Man Attire standpoint (In MY Opinion..) NOW If that makes me NEGATIVE then SO BE IT !!!

  • http://pearlswindow.com Carrington

    *Hi 5's Elove*

Exactly. It would be different if that $hit was stylish... but it AIN"T, it looks like some mismatched bull$hit that they let their children pick out.

I could see if she had them looking like Diddy, because as much as I can't stand his a$$, his swag is on point.

Look at Amar'e... this mf got on SIX different outfits and he PAID somebody for that bull$hit? The tie already effed it up, but then you have to ask where the f*ck she decided some khaki's would go widdit. WTF?

It might have even worked with a pair of jeans. Point blank, she's not good.

  • lexdiamonz

i am mad they PAID somebody to look that PHUCKED up hell they should hire Emily B she keep Fab junior thug swag on point ......amarie or however the hell u spell his name looks a hot azz mess 98% of the time she gotta be styling these cats for free or resume only cuz hell they can call Tameka least she would get a BABY out of it

  • Tatted Diva

I don't mind how Chris Bosh dresses but I do hate the way that Lebron James dresses. Usually, his suits never look as if they fit him, as if they are too big for him. I have often said to my friends "Lebron James needs a stylist" but I guess he has one of those, huh?! In the words of my late grandmother "If you like it, I love it!"

  • http://www.domonoseven.com domonoseven

I would like to see reality TV shows about black entrepreneurs like Rachel Johnson. This post was inspiring to a young black woman such as myself trying to start a business in a failing economy.

  • !*LaKErCHiC@*!

CONGRATS TO THE MAVS FOR TAKING THAT RANG TO THE CASA :champ: AND A BIG AZZ :hahaha: :ha: @LEBUM YO AZZ AINT GETN NO DANG RING BRO!!

  • vjackson

Those are not pics of her best work, but most of her work is very good. I love how these guys look...clean and stylish. I'll choose anything they're wearing over that sloppy nasty hip-hop look that black men have been wearing for way too long. It's so tired that if a black guy chooses to actually wear his pants around his waist he must be gay. Maybe he has a good J-O-B and probably a nice white woman who appreciates his look.
