Business Women: Meet Rachel Johnson, the Woman Who Dresses The Big Three

Johnson is a six-foot tall sista who parlayed her impeccable style and taste into a successful career as a personal shopper to celebs, such as Jamie Foxx, Puffy, Keyshia Cole, Ne-Yo and the Knicks’ Amar’e Stoudemire.

I can appreciate that the sister is making it do what it do, but she is in desperate need of an assistant because she is f*cking horrible. A stylist is supposed to have bring some umph, or some je ne sais quoi, or some STYLE. Lebron James’ suits never have any style, his shirt and tie always look like he bought one of them cheap a$$ sets from Burlington Coat Factory and Chris Bosh always looks like a 12 year old queen in colors no man would be caught dead in.

Stylist? I guess all you need to become a stylist is to know someone with no style who doesn’t know any better.

It’s good that they have a black stylist, but this chicks style game is whack! I call her style Preppyboy gay. It’s unmasculine and soft with a bunch of random colors that rarely go together. That’s why Bosh looks so emasculated. To see how an athlete can become a fashion trend setter go back and look at Jordan. Sophisticated, Chic, stylish and masculine. Oh well, I guess she went to some overpriced fashion school and that makes her choices enlightened, NOT!

The problem is that these guys look average, to below average – and when you’re paying a STYLIST, you should stand out in the crowd. When you look no different (or better) than the guys who shop at the Suit Factory and you’re PAYING someone for that, that’s some wasted cash that you may as well divy up amongst your begging a$$ed family members and send to them every month.

I’m proud that this sista has made name for herself. If the ones wearing the clothes are happy with the look, so be it. That’s all that matters. People are always gonna have something negaative to say about someone else’s style because it doesn’t suit them. It’s not supposed to suit us, only the one wearing it.

I don’t mind how Chris Bosh dresses but I do hate the way that Lebron James dresses. Usually, his suits never look as if they fit him, as if they are too big for him. I have often said to my friends “Lebron James needs a stylist” but I guess he has one of those, huh?! In the words of my late grandmother “If you like it, I love it!”

Those are not pics of her best work, but most of her work is very good. I love how these guys look…clean and stylish. I’ll choose anything they’re wearing over that sloppy nasty hip-hop look that black men have been wearing for way too long. It’s so tired that if a black guy chooses to actually wear his pants around his waist he must be gay. Maybe he has a good J-O-B and probably a nice white woman who appreciates his look.
