New Couple Alert: Michelle Brown (ATLien) and Bob Whitfield

According to a rock solid source, who asked to remain anonymous, celebrity blogger Michelle Brown of Straightfromthea.com, and Sheree Whitfield’s ex are dating now. I wonder how Sheree feels about this? Remember where you heard it first.

Hey Sandra,
ATLien and Bob Whitfield, Shereè’s ex from ‘Real Housewives [of Atlanta]‘ are an item. They were out at Kashim Reed’s bday party and Tupac’s party last night. They’ve been flirting for at least a year. You didn’t hear this from me though. They both like each other. They’ve been on several dates – talk damn near every day. You know Michelle doesn’t do political events. He took her to the mayor’s party. I hope you’re well. Have a great weekend and talk to you later.

Tupac Shakur Described His 1994 Shooting in a Letter from Prison

On February 6, 1995, the late poet, actor and rapper, Tupac Shakur was sentenced to serve 1½–4½ years in Clinton Correctional Facility in New York for a sexual assault. In one of many letters that Tupac penned to family and friends from his prison cell, he shared his thoughts on someday finding that elusive wife who only existed in his dreams.

In long, run on sentences, Tupac wrote:

“I am forever in search of her. I have been with many married women from wives of powerful drug lords to the wives of broke everyday Joes to the wives of quite a few very famous and rich singers/actors and seeing their wives hungry for someone else has shown me that only by being able to completely satisfy a woman in every way, shape & form can I truly find a happy & trusting faithful relationship.”

The day before Tupac was to be sentenced in the sex assault case, he was ambushed by several men who shot him five times and robbed him as he entered the lobby of Quad Recording studios in New York.

In the same letter, written to Sistah Souljah, and later published in the book Tupac: Resurrection; Tupac described his injuries and the aftermath of the shooting:

“My health is fine. I truly feel blessed that other than mentally I have no other scars or lasting problems from my “ordeal”. I still have the complete use of every nerve, limb and muscle and more surprisingly I can still make love and have babies after taking a shot to my scrotum!”

Kelly Rowland: ‘It took a while for me to know that I’m beautiful’

Kelly Rowland is gorgeous, and she knows it. Unlike so many of her peers who bleach their skin or rush to the plastic surgeon — Rowland is confident and comfortable in her own beautiful brown skin.

“It took a long while for me to know that I’m beautiful,” she said in a piece she wrote for Essence.com. “I remember going through this phase when I was younger of wanting to pass by mirrors and not look at them. That was so ridiculous.”

Kelly said that if you don’t know your value, “you don’t know how fantabulous you are,” and it will be hard for others to see your natural beauty. “Being appreciative of self, is beauty to me,” she said.

“One of my beauty icons is Oprah Winfrey. I love that fact that she’s so comfortable with herself. One of my favorite episodes of her show was when she showed millions of people how she woke up in the morning with no makeup on. That was so selfless and revealing. She’s very real and genuine and I love that.”

Rihanna Disowns Drake; He might as well come on out of the closet

I don’t follow troubled R&B singer Rihanna on Twitter. So I missed it when she categorically denied being in a relationship with rapper Drake — as if we didn’t already know that.

Meanwhile, Drake tweeted a subtle dig to Rihanna on his Twitter page, which I spotted, but at the time I wasn’t aware that he was sub tweeting Rihanna.

Anyway, I wrote all that to say, Drake finally came out of the closet last night at the Songwriters Hall of Fame 42nd Annual Induction and Awards at The New York Marriott Marquis Hotel in NYC. There’s no denying it now. Drake wore a black, swoop neck ladies top under his men’s tailored jacket. His poses on the red carpet were decidedly feminine — and he didn’t care who noticed.
