Jessica White’s New Sidekick is Strapping
Most of us who live outside of New York couldn’t pick Jessica White out of a lineup. But she makes headline news in NYC practically every day. She’s a model, but I can’t tell you why she’s famous. She must have slept with somebody famous, or maybe she was on a reality show that got canceled?
Anyway, Ms. White was arrested last year for allegedly slapping one Vanessa Kia during an argument over a cab, according to the NY Post’s gossip column, Page Six. The alleged beat down occurred after a long night of drinking and partying.
White was told by a Manhattan judge Wednesday that charges against her would be dropped if she stays out of trouble, does community service and attends anger-management courses, according to Page Six.
Even though her charges were dropped, the Victoria’s Secret model is more cautious when she parties nowadays. She now employs a female bodyguard, Ervin Jones (that’s not a typo), to protect her from troublemakers when she’s out.

White told Page Six, “When you’re successful, you’re a victim. People see you… and they try to antagonize you.”
Come to Atlanta, Jessica. I promise you, nobody will recognize you.
Gabrielle Union Spotted Out & About With New Man
Actress Gabrielle Union didn’t waste any time rebounding from her old flame, Dwyane Wade of the Miami Heat. I told you last week that the star and her longtime boyfriend split up. Gabby was noticeably absent from game 6 of the 2011 NBA Finals in Miami — and now we know why!
Friends and fans of Union, 38, inundated my email Inbox with denials and excuses for her — the main excuse being that she was out of the state making a movie — as if planes don’t fly on Sundays.

Gabby was seen out shopping with her new man in the “Meatpacking district” of New York City yesterday. The unidentified man seems to be a gentleman. He was very attentive to her, carrying her bags, opening doors for her and such. These are things you rarely see men do for women nowadays. Yes, he is a little on the geeky side. But it makes perfect sense. When you’re Gabrielle Union — a woman who requires a lot of attention — it’s hard to date a man who gets more attention than you do. Gabby’s new dude is not flashy (get it?).

Woman admits to fraud; spent $56 Million on Chanel, Armani and Michael Jackson memorabilia
Talk about audacity. A woman has admitted to defrauding financial group ING out of over $56 million, in what’s being called the largest embezzlement fraud case by a single individual in Australia’s history.
Rajina Rita Subramaniam, 41, siphoned $56 million (in U.S. currency) from ING coffers, which she deposited into private accounts to fund her extravagant lifestyle. The former senior accountant for ING is accused of spending millions of dollars on cars, homes, jewelry, high end clothing, shoes, bags, exotic trips and Michael Jackson memorabilia.
When she was arrested, police recovered a haul of expensive merchandise purchased by Subramaniam, including 600 pieces of jewelry from exclusive lines such as Bulgari, Tag Heuer and Tiffany & Co.; 200 Chanel products including clothing, perfume and makeup, tailored clothing by Hugo Boss and Armani, Mont Blanc stationary and a $600 bottle of Moet & Chandon Dom Perignon champagne.
She allegedly spent more than $16 million on jewelry purchases at Paspaley Pearls jewelry store alone.
ING Group is a global asset management organization with over 54 billion in reported revenue in 2010.
Subramaniam’s 20-year web of deceit unraveled in 2009 when suspicious high end retailers complained to ING about Ms. Subramaniam’s extravagant million-dollar purchases.
If You Can’t Beat Them, Join Them: Beyonce to Appear with Kelly Rowland on X-Factor
According to published reports, Beyonce will appear as a judge on U.K.’s X Factor alongside her former band member, X Factor judge Kelly Rowland.
Kelly is a Superstar in England, and she actually overshadows Beyonce in terms of popularity in the U.K. This will be a very humbling experience for the former Destiny’s Child lead singer.
Bey, as her Stans affectionately call her, will help choose contestants with Kelly at the Judges’ Houses stage of the competition. Beyonce will also perform at the Glastonbury music festival with fellow headliners, Coldplay and U2.

BREAKING: Anthony Weiner Announces His Resignation
Accoding to the Huffington Post, former NY Congressman Anthony Weiner has announced his resignation from Congress.
Embattled Rep. Anthony Weiner (D-N.Y.) announced at a press conference Thursday that he is resigning from Congress, making him the first congressman whose career was wrecked by indiscretions on Twitter.
Weiner, who mistakenly tweeted a photo of his underwear-clad erection last month and then lied to cover it up, had been under escalating pressure to quit as one embarrassing revelation after another came to light. The New York Times was first to report on Thursday that he had succumbed to that pressure.

Alicia Keys Doesn’t Care What You Think
Singer Alicia Keys, 30, and music producer Swizz Beatz, 32, display their deep love and affection for each other at the Keep a Child Alive Black Ball dinner at Camden Roundhouse in London yesterday. Alicia doesn’t care that strangers are still angry at her for breaking up Swizz Beats’ marriage to VIBE writer Mashonda. No one knows the true story of how she and Swizz came to be together.
“We didn’t start seeing each other until months after they had separated,” said Keys in a recent interview.
Alicia and Swizz, real name Kasseem Dean, wed in July of last year on the French island of Corsica while she was six months pregnant with their first child, Egypt. Another factor in the breakup of Swizz’s marriage was a fling with a British woman who gave birth to his only daughter, Nicole, now 3.
Swizz has 4 children — that we know of.
