Celebrity Seed: Lauryn Hill and Lauren London
Pictures of Lauryn Hill’s as yet unnamed newborn son, born July 23, have hit the ‘net a lot quicker than we anticipated. Didn’t she take a month to name her firstborn child? Thanks to Rhymeswithsnitch via Blackcelebkids for the pic of the newborn, who you can see after the break.
Also, after the break is the first clear, close up photo of Lil Wayne’s other son with actress Lauren London. That pic comes to us courtesy of Straightfromthea.com. Reportedly, Lauren London’s people threatened Michelle with all kinds of lawsuits if she didn’t take the picture down. But my protégé’s have learned well, and they know their rights.

It was one of the best interviews I’ve ever had in my life…It last like an hour…and it was like talking with an old friend. The company is about launch a scholarship website, where potential college students can search and apply for scholarships without having to go through the trouble of writing 30 million essay, repaying for transcripts, and searching high and low for scholarships. The company launches in 4 months nad my would be to find companies/people who are willing to use the website to advertise their scholarships. Pretty much a sales position. But what I like the most was how laid back the office was and how ground-breaking this company is gonna be….I felt like I was in the Social Network or something.

I know girl, but the advantage of the kindle is that you don’t have to hold down the book backing between pages and you can adjust the font size to your liking…
i don’t really have too many books anymore, i only keep my absolute favorites and donate the rest to the library
i think a kindle would end up like my ipod, not being used much. i like actual books. but it would make traveling easier.

It sorta does… it feels rushed and IMO the character arent really redeveloped. I read it in like one day. I remember reading Waiting To Exhale and it too way longer to finish…i’m interested to see how the movie version will turn out though….

I miss my old library. They used to have bi-annual book sales where hard and soft covers were a dollar and paperbacks were five for a dollar. and I don’t want a Kindle either. I like being able to turn pages and picking a well worn book from a shelf.

I liked Anne’s first series with Interview, Body Thief, Queen of the Damned, etc. I also enjoyed Witching Hour but need to read it’s follow up Taltos…
And Stephen King is hands down my favorite author of all time. I even love every last book in his Dark Tower series and the books he did with Peter Straub.
Outliers by Malcolm Gladwell is good to. He also wrote the Tipping Point (I haven’t read this yet) and Blink (real good too! Shows you how our brains think and calculate something in as little time as it takes to blink.

Naw, I mean, at the time Jordan was a rookie and you couldn’t go wrong with Bird/Magic. Plus I don’t think Converse would have really tried to push the envelope the way Nike did with Jordan.
If you recall, they were banned by the NBA but Nike payed the fines. Converse would have never done that. Oh yeah, Nike bet the farm on Jordan too so Converse couldn’t afford him.

Nope, it was STILL a big gamble. Due to the UNC system Jordan’s number weren’t all that impressive in college. I mean, Tyler “Down Syndrome”Hansborough passed up his numbers recently!!! I grant you that Jordan was a bit ahead of his time as far as athleticism and the like. I give you that. BUT, he wasn’t so far ahead as to be a no-brainer. I mean, EVEN BACK THEN, there was Clyde Drexler and Nique and Larry Nance and Dr. J was still playing. Hell James Worthy came from the same school and was known to be a superior athlete as well! Basketball is LITERED with players that are physically dominant who never quite win anything (dating back to Elgin Baylor). You get my drift. Add on the fact that at the time Magic/Bird WAS basketball. They had EVERYTHING!
