Dominique Strauss-Khan’s accuser Speaks Out

ABC’s Robin Roberts scored an exclusive interview with the hotel maid who accused former International Monetary Fund head Dominique Strauss-Kahn of raping her in a scandal that made headlines around the world.

“I want justice. I want him to go to jail,” Nafissatou Diallo told ABC’s Robin Roberts in an interview to air Monday on “Good Morning America,” “World News with Diane Sawyer” and “Nightline.” “I want him to know that there is some places you cannot use your money, you cannot use your power when you do something like this.” Source

Diallo said she decided to break her silence after Strauss-Khan’s high powered attorneys attempted to disgrace her by dragging out her past rape accusations in Guinea.

“God is my witness I’m telling the truth. From my heart. God Knows that. And he knows that,” she told Roberts.

She reenacted moments of the alleged assault, at one point kneeling on the floor to describe how she was attacked by Strauss-Kahn after he came out of the shower and tried to force her to commit a sex act.

Strauss-Khan’s seminal fluid was found on Diallo’s uniform. But his legal team contends the sex was consensual.

Strauss-Khan was released from home confinement, partly due to the allegations that Diallo lied to police.

Manhattan District Attorney Cy Vance is considering whether to drop the charges amid “concerns” about Diallo’s credibility.

“I never want to be in public but I have no choice,” Diallo told ABC News, adding “Now, I have to be in public. I have to, for myself. I have to tell the truth.”

His strategy is the age old one when a woman accuses a man of sexually assault…I feel for this woman because “they” have set out to crucify her for seeking justice. My prayer is that this mudda is nailed to the wall. She is not the first to accuse him and will not be the last…money does equal power, but I am hoping in this case that the truth equals justice.

I’m guilty.

When it became known that she is a con artist who runs with con artists reasonable doubt sunk in. Its still there, but the other day I had an epiphany. Why is it that when I found out that she was not reputable I gave him the benefit of the doubt when he is just as slimy as she is?

So while I still think she is a slime ball opportunist based on her track record that doesn’t mean she deserves to be raped nor that she is not entitled to her day in court.

And I don’t care about her lying to get over here. That in no way effects my opinion of her. Her home country is hell on earth. I’d get out of there by any means necessary as well, but the sh*t she got into when she came to America is a problem and it will severely damage the prosecutions case and possibly lead to them losing it. She is a perfect example of you reap what you sow. Try to keep the dirt to a minimum. That sh*t will come back to haunt you in a major way.

I can’t understand why a man who spent $3000 for one night in a hotel would pay the maid maybe $100 for a blow and go.

I typically don’t trust folks when they go public with stories like this. I tend to beleive folks when they say “God is my witness” and she re-enacted it out. That’s going over the top.

On another note about hotel employees…I’m on business travel this week in Philly. I will not disclose the name of the hotel due to pending investigation. Apparently I dropped my phone, as I was getting off the elavator. When I realized I didn’t have it, ran out into the hallway and started asking housekeeping. Not even 2 minutes there was a knock and housekeeping said the phone was found and someone was going to escort me to security to get the phone. Ran into the girl that had found the phone and she couldn’t remember who she gave the phone to. Long story short….I logged into my mobile security for phone and sounding lost alert, then the GPS tracker. How come my phone was tracked 8 miles away.:mad:: I’m glad, I’m grown now…cause not so long ago I would have blasted the address. The hoodrat that found the phone will be FIRED today, if she comes to work, as I was told she didn’t follow protocol. Loosing a job over a cell phone. Who does that?

Hello All. I told my husband the other day that a cop can come knock on our door at any time day or nite saying that the woman down the street or the woman at your office or a stranger on the corner accuses him of rape. IT CAN HAPPEN! And he’d have to prove that he’s innocent. The pu$$y, its a powerful thang. And I ain’t saying she’s lying, we just don’t know. GM SR. I feel in my gut that he is guilty as charged. But then again my gut wasn’t in that hotel room. Anyway I believe in karma so if he’s guilty he will get what’s coming to him. And if she is lying oh lawd have mercy on her, that is one of the worst things you can accuse someone of, that person can never live that down, no matter how many acquittals.

That could be very well be the fact that she was naive when she got over here! You don’t have to be a “good girl” to be raped- that’s a tactic prosecutors use. Just because she associated with men with criminals doesn’t mean she is one. He is guilty!!

As far as I can see, DSK and Ms. Diallo have credibility issues so they are on an even playing field.
It is so sad that a newspaper (another Rupert Murdoch enterprise) thinks it is okay to brand an alleged rape victim as a hooker on the front page. For the record, hookers can be victims of rape. There is no such thing as implied consent because of a perceived status.
